Let me say this: It wasn't a bad or a good deck in the BT6 format. BUT it worked even in this format or "only" at this format by abusing Tamer and Option cards with different colors. I called it "Eos Control" because it was a mix of Eosmon with Sec Con to stop aggressive decks while building my own board. Additionally, if you play a slow deck like Eosmon in a format with Ukkomon, Mind Link Rookies, Armor and so on, you should tech in 2x Digimon Emperor to slow down your opponent's game flow. Pair this with cards like "Izzy & Joe" as your black tamer and you could use several crowd control options like Kongou, D.G. Dimension and so on. All I can say is: The deck worked in BT6 and I loved it, too. Was a little bit like Blackjack because I needed to count my cards until I recovered the right one but this made it unique. ❤
Hello, I really have no words to say how happy this video makes me, like you, I'm an eosmon player since its release to date every set that comes out was a new opportunity to see and say "hmmm maybe this new digitama can be useful, or maybe this tamer", seeing the announcement of the bt-17 support was something amazing, and even more motivating to someday finish putting together the lvl.5 I like to see that we have some differences in the decklists, I use the purple tamer Alice mccoy, so lower the cost of evolution of lvl.6 and add one more eosmon to the trash. Greetings from latam.
Thank you for the lovely comment! Your version of the build is quite interesting and I haven't thought about that before, maybe I'll try it out at some point! Would be nice to try Alice, don't think I've used that since trying to make bt6 titamon work 😅
@@VortexTCG It is quite functional, it helps not to spend the turn using the original Eosmon lvl.6, also if we delete an eos with source we can activate the analog, and gain an additional memory for this.
I think playing bad decks is more satisfying due to the challenge. The first deck i built from scratch was a budget Wargreymon deck using the old Starter deck Wargreymon. I didn't always get 5 checks in one stack, but when indodnand Blitzed for game, it gelt amazing.
My favorite card to run if youre trying to turbo out the level 6 from bt6 was always winrate 60% because you can discard a level 5 for cost and it essentially makes the level 6 a 3 cost evo.
Yeah I remember running it, but I feel like there's no point in doing that now due to having access to promo morphomon, which does something very similar.
DarkKnightmon and more recently Chessmon. Unfortunately Black is just not great right now because of power creep, so playing what I love usually sees me destroyed in 2-3 turns.
I feel that. I recently revisited DarkKnight, another favourite deck of mine and I just feel like I couldn't hang at all. Hopefully they revisit strategies like that in the future!
Been messing with reapers lately. About to try the red build with hiro tucking gammas and rowdy rocker for mom. I tried a deva variant since the deva option can tuck random devas under mom too. Just feels like gatekeeper can shut down the magnamons. Lol
For sure, the D-Reaper deck just has these odd pieces of interaction with other decks. They don't have levels, so in situations they're quite difficult to deal with. Gatekeeper lock is so annoying also!
Diaboro was cool for me cause it was the only token deck and I loved the movie. Shame these slow and cool archtypes can take so long until a random set feels like supporting it again. But my actual favourite is Ravemon. Loved his design as some cool Sephiroth looking Digimon when I saw him in Data Squad. But the Archtype leave's itself way to wide open after you pop your own Ravemon and even though there's a blocker Peckmon, removal for low lv digimon is common by just the opponent evoing up their stack. Maybe with the Lilithmon support I can attempt some negate attack stuff with it but I probably just have to hope and wait till the next round of Data Squad support comes in. Also kinda sucks that the decks I enjoy usually Play by Effect so the moment Im hit with a flood gate or Crimson Blaze I'm already cooked.
I'll probably make a video closer to the release, but overall I'm disappointed in the support. I feel like the positives the level 4/5 Eosmon gives isn't enough to outweigh the bonuses your opponent gets. The level 6, Morphomon & Menoa are all good cards, but those are the ones that didn't need the support as much.
Been trying to make hexblaumon relevant again. Almost every set they add some spicy remove source digimon or a really solid option card, yet i can not get this deck to work purely cause it can't cheat out tamers there's no real in deck search engine apart from memory boost and training cards (which do help a lot but still no where near enough searching power) it just feels so good to freeze someone board.
I think the biggest issue with Hexeblaumon is that it doesn't do much unless your opponent has a digimon on the field. Might be cool if in future support you get to play a token on the opponents side of the field to get those effects off?
My favourite deck is a magnadramon deck I cooked up based on EX3 4GD magnadramon. Terrible and inconsistent in current meta. But when it pops off boy is it fun
Not the worst deck by far, but I will forever love Jesmon regardless of bricking on 2 different parts of the deck, needing to wait 3 turns to set up, and having my sister board wiped out by the power of Crimson Blaze, DP reduction, and the bastard named Belphemon. The joy of doing a GX combo is always fun, even if it gives my opponent 3+ memory and leaves my GX vulnerable.
The combo that you do in Jesmon is very fun and very flexible depending on what you decide to do. Used to love playing it in BT10/11, but yeah now that Crimson Blaze is a card being used often, really does make it worse. :(
D-Reaper is definitely my "fun" deck. Not a fan of the art or anything (it's pretty bad), but I'm just a fan of gimmicks. I like Chessmon's line, but the TCG cards are just... ugh. I'm hoping that ST18/19's Puppet support will help out.
Can I love a terrible digimon deck? My favorite Digimon is Ravemon and I have everything since release Yes I did try bringing it for tournaments during the entirety of EX4 and BT13 as well
I love D-Reaper for its Eldritch horror/Lovecraftian design. But the deck is quite suck now for being way way too slow in the current format. Same with Eosmon, but at least the BT17 support makes the deck a bit more consistent and a lot fun to play.
You caught a shot of my favourite terrible deck in the video with that beautiful EP6 DarkKnightmon. Sukamon a close second place
DarkKnight the goat!

I will play Eosmon until the day I die or the card game gets scraped.

Eosmon in bt17: hold my beer, I'm bout to cook
Hopefully, we will see! :)
I love this deck !

I've loved RustTyrannomon since Day 1 and won't ever stop continuing the losing streak
Just having fun with the deck is victory enough
Babe, wake up. VortexTCG posted!
He sure did, finally! 😭

I'm an avid and constant rogue player lol. DexDorugrey, Ravemon and Aegisdramon have been my favorite decks
I haven't tried DexDoru yet, but cannot wait to try it in BT17! :)
A lot of my favorite decks over time have been bad decks.
I like the Vemmon deck, and Chessmon is something I am working on currently.
Chessmon is so much fun, cannot wait for the new starter decks to improve the deck further :)

This for me is actually the deck in cardfight vanguard purgatory dragon deity favrneel and it’s always going to be my favourite deck 🥰
Never played vanguard, but that guy looks pretty cool!
Love is a weird thing, isn’t it? My favorite deck is Aegisdramon and I can’t help but love it and defend it even though it’s below average at best.
I gotta revisit Aegisdramon at some point, with all the support it gets here and there. One day!
what do you think about the new reworked eosmon?

That new puppet support is looking really good for the deck, cannot wait to test it out!
I've loved angels since day 1
Can I love a terrible digimon deck? My favorite Digimon is Ravemon and I have everything since release
Yes I did try bringing it for tournaments during the entirety of EX4 and BT13 as well
As a person who also invested in full rarity ravemon, I know the pain.
Megidramon/ChaosGallantmon is my favorite deck, and it's awful in the current meta. No amount of losing with it will make me love it less.
My favourite bad deck has gotta be mamemon, i love playing with my balls 😂
ayo hold up... 😂
D-Reaper for life🙃🙃🙃🙃
All I do is love terrible decks lmao

Anyone can take MagnaX and win. Taking jank and winning is another story
Trueeeeee
Eosmon is tier 0 what you mean worse deck 🙃
the actual answer is why not
Exactly.
