"Breakthrough: When our worship team went away to write for our church, I kept feeling led to ask people in our congregation what songs they needed to sing over themselves. One of my friends, said “I need a breakthrough song. Not a sad one, but one that makes me praise and dance my way through.” That stuck with me and so later I brought that thought of “breakthrough praise” into one of the writing sessions. The song happened so fast - it was like all of us knew we needed to sing this over our own lives and situations. Sometimes there are seasons that we just have to praise our way through. We might not feel like it, but as we chose to open our mouths and declare God’s praises things begin to shift in the atmosphere and in us. There is power in our praise. I’m really grateful to be a part of this song and watching it help me and others remember that breakthrough comes when we praise God!" - Hope
