It's interesting how American Thanksgiving is basically called crop appreciation day in Korean because German Thanksgiving is called Erntedankfest. In English it's harvest festival but the literal translation would be crop appreciation/thanking festival
Now that I think of it again, I guess "Harvest thanking day" is more accurate direct translation to Korean! Thank you for sharing German language perspective 😊
