What an amazing third case... But I'm always wondering how the lawyers make money in these games because they usually look for the truth rather than do what they're supposed to do.
Well if we're talking games, Edgeworth is still rich despite changing his views towards finding the truth rather than winning. Pretty sure Klavier is well off as well. All honesty, there is more money in prosecution than defense. But Phoenix is at least able to keep up with his monthly rent on the office on his own for awhile.
Well, the protagonists do perform their job of defending the client while also looking for the truth. It helps that Phoenix, Apollo, and Athena all have lie-detecting tools/abilities, so they can avoid taking guilty clients unless forced to by circumstance.
The reason I was in Lowgate Cemetery at all ten years ago was for…a spot of moonlighting, shall we say? Yes, the illustration in that newspaper article was based on what I witnessed on that night. But looking back on it, I realise that I never actually saw the Professor. Soon afterwards, I was visited by a woman who sculpted a model of me from wax. Then I gave up on my dream of becoming a scientist. And it was all because of that newspaper article.
OBJECTION! If you never saw the Professor, how did you know he was wearing an iron mask? You must have known that detail and told it to the reporter for it to be included in the illustration on the newspaper, hmm?
As with all Ace Attorney music, I wasn't into this or the regular cross examination theme much at first. It felt too playful and whimsical. But it ended up really fitting the action and set the stage for thinking through some of the cases very well. I think overall the second Great Ace Attorney plot was way more compelling than the first, and thus made me appreciate this much more. Felt better taking it to the Case 5 culprit in the second game than it did in the first game.
I love the music in this game, both the allegro and objection themes make me imagine the witness getting ready to scramble and the truth running away, so elusive. like here it's like they're ready to pack their bags before shit hits the fan and the objection theme is them trying to run away, stumbling from side to side into everything as you lock in to what they said, they're both simply perfect.
For some reason even though I wasn't immediately sold on the Moderato Cross-Examination theme, this was and still is my favorite Allegro theme in the entire series

Depends on the lawyer. Good lawyers look for the truth in the case, but not all of them do that. Same with prosecutors.

This took the title of my favourite allegro theme in Ace Attorney so fast. I didn’t think the first game would be topped in that regard.

*looks at evidence*
Wait let me clarify that.
*Looks again at evidence*
-the whole gameplay of tgaa trials
Reminds me of the part when Redifast and fairplay testified because Megundal accused them of stabbing Mortar
It sounds amazing with headphones
I love that this theme really feels like "a great cross examination"
It’s not the same without the constant swapping between testimony and looking at the evidence
When you hear this you know shit is getting real
I associate each cross examination theme with a specific character. In this case, I think about Ringo and Nash.
