  • When your mental health is poor, know it is not you. It’s your brain, thoughts and biology that need extra care. Today I share how I’ve been doing and what I choose to do to help get myself out of depression. Take care of yourself. Every part of it. You deserve to feel better. Tell your loved ones how you are struggling and how they can help. I asked my spouse to check in on me with specific questions: how are you physically, how are you mentally? These questions can help keep me safe. I hope they help you too. ❤️.
    If you are struggling with suicide, please call 988 from your cell phone for the suicide hotline or hightail it to your local emergency room. Have a plan for the deep darkness you may experience. You are worthy of help and support. Your unique presence here on Earth matters and has a purpose. You are loved.
