China's porcelain capital, Jingdezhen, in Jiangxi Province, is considered a mecca for ceramicists. Spanish artist Jaume Ribalta, who has lived here for three years, said the city was unique. Its large ceramic industry not only attracts international designers, but also drives local tourism.
