Figueiredo Mansion, Loutulim, Goa - Older than the Taj Mahal

Figueiredo House is a mansion in South of Goa owned and managed by Fatima Figueiredo. The house is today partially converted into a museum showcasing the belongings of the family. Apart from that, a portion of the mansion is converted into a homestay with a few rooms furnished to accommodate guests who would love to enjoy a slice of Goan lifestyle.
Some interesting facts about the time during which the house was built. - Shakespeare had just begun writing plays, Galileo was yet to argue that the Sun didn’t go around the Earth, and back home, Emperor Akbar was presiding over most of India.
