Fun fact: The game was never meant to be a GTA clone, it was made to be another crazy taxi clone but halfway through development Sega tried to sue the asses off of them for Road Rage. All of the on foot content, the ability to leave your car, the collectible coins and whatnot, even most of the main story were all rushed out last minute. Even the character models were reused assets from Road Rage, seen in the E3 trailers and beta, but were remade and switched right before release. It became a GTA clone by accident and out of necessity, it was never the intent. The devs just looked at it one day and went “huh, kinda looks like gta now... oh well, back to work”.
Liquid is a very great guy, I always see him interacting in other H&R streams. Furthermore, I love how he doesn't favour donors in the chat; he talks to everyone.
I love watching you play this but one of the best part so far is Matt saying: “I doing any timer in this game is restrictive” and instantly fails that mission because that’s one of the restrictive timers

The way he kept screwing up on the last mission in Lisa's level, I almost forgot how not to scream when the entire house is asleep because of this. It's like he was intentionally being a noob just to fuck with me, and in reality he could spot ramp shortcuts with ease.

@@YouVidTuber Relative to Simpsons Hit and Run, that's 90% driving with the number of platforming missions you can count on 1 hand (and said platforming isn't even that good). GTA at least more stuff you can do on foot (combat, minor platforming etc) and some sandbox stuff you can exploit (like in GTA 3 using car bombs to kill targets)

Loved watching this but ngl you're missing out on so much by not doing the races, bonus missions and then the track racing in the main room, its so fun. I still remember as a kid when I found out you could go into first person on those track races. Changed my life lol

Really couldn't agree more with your summary at the end, as a kid having this on the Ps2 I struggled through the game all the way up to the last mission and it was something that I at that age just couldn't beat, I however did pick up the game about a year ago (I'm 28 now so got a fair bit more experience under my belt) and it still was a tough last challenge, satisfying to complete, yet tricky.
