Loved every bit of it! True Leica user - Mr. Grrant is from a period where there was no 'smart' camera, no auto focus, to here someone with over 70yrs of doing photography, you are getting an honest opinion that is so full of experience. A joy to hear your story Mr. Grant!!

You are a treasure, sir. You will help me become a better photographer. This narrative blends the technical and lyrical. I teared up more than once.

Outstanding! I learned so much from his comments and insights on lighting. I shoot with Leica M cameras too, and I completely understand his description of his love affair with Leica. It’s all true. Once you hold and shoot with a Leica M camera, there’s no turning back. I rarely shoot with my other camera systems which include Hasselblad, Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Yashica and Miranda. I now see and compose from a Leica perspective. Dr. Grant’s stories and his heartfelt emotion was powerful and touching and his honest reflection on several key turning points in his life was inspiring. What a remarkable individual. I’ll keep a look out for my invitation to his 100th birthday party.
