Forestella often take turns to take the lead. If you want to listen to their original songs you need to start with Save Our Lives as it is the first song in a trilogy of songs. If you want to treat yourself listen to them sing the any of the following songs Lazenca Save Us, Bad Romance, Sweet Dreams, Parla Piu Piano, Del Amore Non Si Sa and the song Champions.
Ko Woorim, the bass, is actually the rarest opera male voice, a basso profundo. He's classically trained. There's another League of Legends cover from them you MUST check out! You need to do a deep dive into their performances!!! Two of them are classically trained, one is a musical actor and the last one is actually a chemical engineer who sang in an amateur rock band.
Hey! Yes, they have original songs! You should try "Utopia", "Save Our Lives" and "White Night"... Also, this year, they released "Chagall's Dream" and "Snow Globe". They are all incredible songs.

Ko Woo Rim the bass is stunning. Forestella use him brilliantly and I think their bass gets a much better opportunity with them than the basses do in the excellent acapella groups.

This is what happens when your baritone is classically trained, their voice cuts through❤. Forestella as a group is smart, they utilize their baritone a lot as a way to draw people in, and it obviously works.
Another song you may like is "Lazenca Save us". Again Ko WooRim got a big share of it. You should watch their "Bohemian Rhapsody", (what Freddie had in his head all along), Bad Romance", (better than Gaga), "Shape of you" 😂, "Je suis malade" 😭😭 They have turns of letting one shine a bit more than the others. Forestella is so incredible, thank you for the reaction!! Forestella plays a huge part in the arrangement of their music, which is so impressive. I know you mentioned how much you enjoyed this arrangement. Aside from this, I think you would really enjoy their performance of MAMA, I'd love if you checked it out next. I'd also recommend Hijo de la Luna. One of the members of Forestella, Kang Hyung Ho (his stage name is PITTA) did an individual performance of Phantom of the Opera that I think you would enjoy as well.

Yes! Forestella, I was so Excited! Woorim’s BassBaritone is the incredible foundation for this and so many of their other songs, which you usually don’t see, sh So Incredible. Yes their originals are amazing!!! I would suggest Angels next to show their diversity. As a group, their diversity and styles remind me of Dimash, just incredible, Angel is truly angelic and again starts with the baritone, who is unfortunately currently serving mandatory military service since the end of November. You will find that many Dears love Forestella as well. Thank you John, I was so excited to see this❤ ❤❤❤

As people mentioned, he’s called Ko Woorim, and he was majoring in classical singing in Seoul University when he entered an audition program called Phantom Singer and became a member of Forestella. He’s the youngest member of the group(I mean he was only a college student when he started). Also one huge issue about him is that he’s married to Kim Yuna, the legendary Korean figure skater who was gold medalist in the Vancouver Olympics and also silver at Sochi. They met during a her gala show where Forestella was invited to sing, and they got married in October 2022. Which is why he’s widely known in Korea as ‘the National Thief’ for stealing our figure skating queen’s heart lol… people absolutely adore them😂🥰
Their kids are going to be super talented.
The band was formed through a singing competition. Ko Woo Rim is the one with the deepest voice . He's the maknae of the group and he just started his military enlistment. They are fantastic!

Yes John, the bass guy sucked me in when I listened to them the first time. They are all good but that bass is hauntingly mesmerizing! You hear him in the songs they do and Despacito is a fun one. Their harmonies are one of the best out there….very in sync with each other!!!

Immortal songs 2 was a competition that they won with different covers. Bad Romance, Despacito (sings Spanish), Lazenca save Us. Spread and Silk on my Heart. Phantom Singer 2 was also a competition they won. They have also done covers of Bohemian Rhapsody, Time in a Bottle, Shape of You (sings English, Spanish and Zulu) Je Suis Malade (sings French). They also have their own music White Night, Save our Lives, Utopia and Snow Globe. ❤
Mingyu is the one who put this group together. He carefully picked which member he wanted in there. That is why he is their leader.

Hi. It's me again,lol. Ko Woorim is the baby of this group at age 28. He's married to the South Korean Champion figure skater ( called Queen) Yuna Kim. She's 5 years older than him and they met when Forestella was doing a few songs at an event she attended. She was smitten ( understandably) She has a personal net worth of $10 MILLION with Dior endorsements etc. She's a HUGE STAR in Korea! You can even see TH-cam videos of their wedding. Woorim is currently serving his mandatory military service in the Korean Army Band and will be finished in apx 17 more months. The other 3 Forestella members have all completed their service. I TRULY hope you do a DEEP DIVEinto Forestella. You will not regret it! I have them, Dimash and Jungkook on almost all day. I think my music tastes are very discriminating! Thanks again! 😊👍 ❤

I highly recommend Forestella singing Inner Universe from Ghost in the Shell. It's one of my faves from them, but honestly, any song from this group is incredible.
Sorry for my poor english because i'm french, but I couldn't avoid to tell you how much i'm happy to see your reaction to this amazing group. They are fantastic. I had the chance hearing them live in Seoul in septembler and I was completly chocked because they are even better live. Each song gave me shivers. I hoppe you will react to more Forestella's songs ! I love, love, love Forestella. I'm so happy that you found them!!! There are so many great performances. I recommend Bohemian Rapsody as well as one by just one of the members who performs both parts of The Phantom of the Opera. He is a tenor/soprano and is the only member who has had no vocal training. He and some friends put a rock band together when they were in college, and he played guitar and was lead singer. The amateur band went by the name Pitta. The group consists of two Opera singers, one musical actor and our amateur freak of nature who is a chemical engineer and the only one of the group who had a "real job" before becoming a member of Forestella. I'm sorry that I can't remember their names which is sad as I've been a fan for two years. My excuse is that I'm old. 😊 Anywho, sorry for rambling. I also recommend well, everything they've done! Before the military service MinGyu was in Seoul Metropolitan Opera. If you think a "real job" means office worker (Actually HyungHo worked in the lab tho), well, I'd rather say he was the only one far from theater business. Even though just as a hobby he was 10 years experienced rocker at the point of Phantom Singer 2 audition.
@manaciel I meant that he was an amateur singer and not a paid vocalist as the others are. Honestly, the term "real job" was used by the narrator in one of the many mini documentaries that I've watched about Forestella. Regardless, they are all fabulous!

BTW WooRim was a 3rd grader in the university at that time, so Forestella is WooRim's first "real job" lol.
If it was a company, Forestella would have been a black company because they worked too hard and too much. As far they said, they never rested 3 days in a row before WooRim's wedding. DooHoon said they met everyday except for 1 or 2 days in a month. 😵

I have seen all of Forestella’s performances multiple times & they still give me goosebumps. They are my all time fav vocal group & the bass singer Ko Woorim is probably my favorite singer ever. Ko Woorim is a classically trained opera singer, which is probably where he learned to project his voice like you were talking about. He has such a lovely warm tone to his voice. Aside from their angelic vocals though, one thing I love about this group is the way they arrange the songs they cover. Quite often I prefer their cover to a lot of the originals.

Their three main originals are “UTOPIA", “Save our lives”& “White Night.” Personally, I really recommend UTOPIA! It's a progressive song composed for Forestella by Valensia Clarkson, who is heavily influenced by Queen. It's the 2nd part of a triology. (Part I being “Save our lives” which you already did a reaction video to, and part III “White Nights.”) All very uplifting and deep meaning songs.

Another Dear here ❤ Forestella and Dimash both are in a different level. I want to correct one thing about Forestella. The leader is Cho Mingyu not Bae Doohoon. Doohoon is the eldest in the group. But Mingyu is the one who chose the members very carefully with a lot of strategy. Because of his deep strategies he was nick named as a strategist during the competition where Forestella was formed.
