@@Insight-Nobodyy’all just act like Dallas doesn’t play defense. They were a top 10 defense after the trade deadline and they had the number one defense in the last 20 games of the season. There defense is probably the main reason why they got to the finals. They were one of the best defenses in the playoffs especially with how kidd was a able to set up a team scheme to stop stars on the other team.
@@abtocool6350 Mavs defense looks great one game and non-existent another. They are too inconsistent to be treated as one of best NBA defenses.
Example: Couldn’t do a thing defensively against the Celtics, but locked down the Timberwolves.
If the Mavs don’t have a good offensive night, they can’t trust their defense to pick up the slack, and will more than likely lose the game. Inconsistency on defense is absolutely an issue for the Mavs no matter what stats you throw out
