Why is that simply perfect?
watching this after seeing some of your newer stuff. glad you are a bit more crazy now
"And maybe change the 'a' to an 'e.'"
"But then that spells 'Rey,' which is Spanish for 'king!'"
"Americans don't speak Spanish!"
"Actually, a good portion of the population learns it, either from their family or high school."
"Whoops."
"Whoopsie!"
"Raymond" literally means "king of the world" in Spanish, italian, etc.
When I watched this in the theater I was speechless at the end.
Not in a good way. After me and my friend sat during the credits, eventually i finally spoke and said,
"This movie is titled 'The New A New Hope'." I've called it that ever since.
“Barely an inconvenience.” The greatest line😂
I just bowed in respect. Your summary of TFA is SO spot on.. and hilariously too.
I see what you did there.
"Everybody loves raymond?"
"Everybody loves raymond."
Somewhere, robert is upset.
The "happens to" bit remains my favorite part of any pitch meeting
4:25 " A little too FORCED" you mean
omg, why have i not found this channel till now. this is great lol
I can totally imagine the pitch meeting for the Last Jedi:
"So, I hope we get a new backstory for Rey, maybe some character development where she trains with her powers?"
"No, she's just super powerful now with absolutely no personality"
"Detestable character arcs are TIGHT"
The thumbnails of these pitch meetings look silly but when I actually watched one it happened to be a great video. Good job
Everybody loves Reymond!
New fan here, since I watched my first pitch meeting, TROS, been binge watching. Thanks for making it make sense😬😄🤣🤭
That was a long way to go for that Raymond joke...and I kinda love it.
But I guess everyone does. 😂 1:46 °o°
Fantastic!! You nailed it brother - just a bunch of happenings...
Yeah, calling the main female character "Raymond" would be awful; look at what happened when the new Star Trek series called their female lead character "Michael."
@stinky pinky Nope, Michael Burnham, who is also Spock's stepsister that he never mentioned... just like his half-brother Sybock, who he also never mentioned until Star Trek 5.... a film vastly superior to the series "Discovery," a ship-name more cursed than "Titanic" because TWO previous crews mutinied and killed their captains, first Henry Hudson and then Frank Poole.
What's wrong with "Raymond" and "Michael"
@@loganbigmo They're Mary Sues with men's names.
@@kenburns4547 I get that with Rey but I feel like ol Mikey had some pretty significant character flaws, so not really a Mary Sue. Still, Discovery was a pretty disappointing show overall.
@@kenburns4547 THIS right here.
So true it hurts. Great video as always!
I saw the "Everybody loves Raymond" joke coming and I still loved it :)
Hi, I’m a time traveler from two years in the future, And I want to announce that these pitch videos get even better with time.
I have to admit, I openly laughed way to loud when you said “everybody loves Raymond”.. 😂
I'll have to admit that I groaned.
Good one, though.
Everybody lives Raymond haha. Good one. Just found your SW pitch videos a couple days ago, very funny stuff. Keep it up!
This is hilarious
Happens is my new favorite catchphrase.
For the next pitch meeting could you please do "Geostorm"
Yep. I was dragged to this thing after giving up the franchise during the prequels . This description is spot on.
"And everybody loves Raymond?"
Oh God, I can't breathe...
It’s weird coming back to this video and seeing how much faster his delivery was.
Its giving me whiplash. Glad he refined his delivery.
Star Wars: That’s Not How The Force Works
Wow, this actually summarizes everything I ever felt about Force Awakens. Shame I only found this now.
