    Hello Lady Jennifer Forrest!
    My name is Pedro, I'm 46 and I'm a portuguese man learning from your lessons!
    First of all, I should tell you that you are an excelent, amazing, very enthusiastic and pedagogic English teacher. For the latest 6 months I have been watching your videos about phrasal verbs (they are all amazing/fascinating, shoud I say). But now, I have two questions for you. The first one is: how to make the difference between phrasal verbs for a formal speech and phrasal verbs for informal speech. There are several phrasal verbs (thousand and thousand) with the same meaning or similar. For instance:
    Take care=look after;
    Go over= look into;
    kick back=settle down= calm down
    Write down= jot down
    Drift off= fall asleep= nod off
    Keep going= carry on
    Depend on= rely on= (fall back on???)
    … and so many others!!!! Second question is: is there a suitable way to apply them? It depends on the context?
    Please, keep going with your excelent work! I am really enjoying it!!
    Thank you for your time. Thank you in advance.
    Best greetings!!
    Pedro Ascenso

It's one of the best ways to solve the quiz , and thank you for your brilliant idea . Really lovely . This video lasted a little longer and consequently, I haven't fully watched this video yet . But , I will watch it soon .

      Hi pal, I agree with you my friend 'cause that's the way I learned how to speak, understand, comprenhend, write and read the language, I mean, by learning Grammar and Phonetics first and then start practicing that Grammar all the time and constantly, that's the only way to learn any language, there are no secrets, like some youtubers say, the only secret is studying grammar, phonetics and practicing, study for one hour at the most and practice a lot, if you wanna learn correctly, thanks for reading my comment.

    Thanks a lot Jennifer!🥰🥰🥰 I'm fond of learning new phrasal verbs for myself!
    Could you tell me please whether you can create a PDF worksheet? If you could make that something, that would be a real salvation for your students! How do you consider? But now we have to write down all the content to notebooks. I don't insist on my offer in anyway, it's gonna be your own decision only but let's be honest, PDFs which go along with your amazing videos would become a perfect addition to those ones, wouldn't they?

    • @fredylopez2477
      @fredylopez2477 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you allow me ;
      Hi, sorry to butt in, but, there's one thing I consider it's important ;
      If you write down all the content in a notebook, you're doing the right thing, for one simple reason, if you write it down, you're studying at the same time and you're gonna keep a record that's gonna be available any time you want it and any time you need it, besides, when you write down something repeatedly you just keep it in your mind, that's to say you memorize it, of course, you gotta practice all the time, I mean, you have to speak the language constantly and use what you write down, including the phrasal verbs and idioms so you won't forget what you learn, of course, a PDF worksheet would be a great help, well this is my point of view, thanks for reading my comment.

      Absolutely agree with your correct opinion, Freddy! Thanks for sharing your paradigm of my words (your point of view). I know the fact whether I'm writing down something on my own, all the topic is just ingraining into my mind and my memory forever (far better at least). I've already been learning English a plenty of time and factually, I really realize this exactly what can help me whether or not. Thanks bro, bye for now!

      Hi Daddy Dave, well what can I type ? Thanks for agreeing with me, but let me type something else, which I think it's essential, relevant and important, and it's the fact that I learned Grammar and a little Phonetics FIRST, and then started practicing that grammar, to me, that's the only way to learn how to speak, understand, comprenhend, write and read any language so don't pay any attention to what Kale Anders says 'cause I'm sure he learned English and Spanish Grammar and Phonetics FIRST, that's why he speaks both languages and when some people say that they learned just by listening and watching tv, without grammar and phonetics, well, they're lying, as simple as that, with all those new methods you just learn words and repeat as a parrot what other prople say but you don't learn how to order your thoughts or ideas, (that's what grammar does) so you can express yourself with your own words. Some people don't wanna work hard and don't care so they choose those methods, Well, there's so much to talk (type) about this topic but so little time, anyway thanks for reading my comment.
