Most Battlefield fans say this game is bad but this is the battlefield game that started my battlefield career and I love this game to death and this music is awesome.
This was the first Battlefield I ever played, before that I didn't even know what Battlefield was so this game holds a special place in my heart and soul with it, Counter-strike, Halo CE, CoD Finest Hour, and some others were what got me into games like this.
Jushyen Those who do not appreciate things that can only be described as Art have no place in this world, this game and its soundtrack are one of many things that can be described as Art.
Same, I was like 7 and played the crap out of this game. Even though I had no xbox live I still loved the singleplayer which gave us the hot swap system
This game had one of the most unique singleplayer experiences I've ever seen. You were not some super soldier, protected by plot and prioritized like James Bond. You were another one in your squad, another unit taking part. Defeat had another purpose, you were not supposed just to survive.
I think exactly like that! Sure, a single well developed character is always remarkable, but the experience of being just another paw on the war, yet with freedom of choosing which one, was unique in this game
Oooh, so agreed. First FPS I played was this one, excluding old Medal of Honor which I did not liked because was young and dumb. This and Rainbow Six on XBOX were so good and unique. Sadly, nowadays you might not find games with such interesting ideas for a gameplay
This music has something other modern games nowadays don't have, that music's orchestra gives you determination for searching hope, bravery, and strength with all Good!

It is a good game, but in my opinion BF4 is more polished. Sure, it may have an inferior SP, but the MP is crisp and great for all of your battlefield moments. BF2:MC has the advantage of a better, more battlefield-ish Campaign, relying on the view of a soldier than 'the chosen one' type character. So, in conclusion, or TL;DR, BF2:MC has the better Campaign, BF4 has the better Multiplayer (in my opinion.)
@@NPC_GENERIC_ENEMY_INFANTRY I hate that propaganda manners in BF3 and BF4."Oh look we got our good US heroes who just wanna survive and save this world"...Sensitive shitty story.Only multiplayer is good.

This was one of the first games I ever played. I never was able to get M rated games until a few years ago, but this game is what started my love for FPS games. I never really heard of this game from the community, so I didn’t really think much of it. Most of the time it was skipped over and never mentioned. I found the disc and all the memories came back. My 4 year old self never being able to get past the sniper mission, and having my dad do it for me. Having tanks roll in towards my position and taking out an AT4 and taking it out in three shots. This music that I remember from the menu is what I will never forget. Even though I’m more of a COD fan now, this song will always hold a special place in my heart.
I miss this game sp much:( If they could remaster or at least just even bring the original to steam with mod support, I would be so happy, I used to spend hours and hours on story every day after school when I was a kid
This was my first Battlefield game. I beat the Campaign many, many times and enjoyed every minute of it. This game needs to be Remastered. Just upgrade the graphics, don't change anything else.
I played BF2:MC on PS2 before I switched to PC version of BF2. Though original Battlefields such on PC are the best (Battlefield 2 on PC is the pinnacle of the series), Modern Combat was still extremely fun to play and in my opinion the best console Battlefield version ever made. BF3 and BF4 are both only shades of what BF series actually can do and that's where Modern Combat shines alongside classic PC Battlefields. Large map to play on, lots of room to flank and tactics unlike in BF3 and BF4. 5 classes, emphasis on taking flags and vehicles were funny to play and they were also powerful (as it should be).
