I finally figured out what defines the bacta strat after being confused for many videos: It's freezing one or more animals in the shop and using animals that buff the shop animals (like the beetle) to boost their stats greatly over several rounds.
What does bacta even mean quite frankly and what the abbreviation stands for? I guess it has something to do with feeding the green beetle but he never explained it on youtube and all I can find is "Bacta was a thick, gelatinous substance with seemingly magical healing properties". EDIT: thanks for explaining, that's a proper name for the strat for sure!
You put animals in the Bacta tank (freeze them in the shop) and then they get healed (buffed), afterwards you take them out of the Bacta tank stronger.
I don't have the pay to win pets and wasn't paying that much attention when he first did it, thought it was a reference to Bactrian camel and it was some camel strat lol.

A “bacta tank” is from the Star Wars universe and I think is basically a vat filled with ‘bacta’ fluid which people are submerged in and it heals them
