I used to play yugioh until my highschool days(synchro was the latest summoning mechanic that time) then i came back to yugioh because of md. I knew him through his weekly mcs and i fell inlove with his works. I never knew he was doing this since duel links. Dkayed is legend ❤️
Really loving all the uploads from tournaments, all the random one offs of rogue decks. Really spices up the channel, tell the editors that their work is appreciated!
Damn that was fun to watch lol. All that setup to get deleted by infinite SS into synchro climb. Ngl, the spice is real on that Dark World/Danger hybrid. The way this man keeps up with the match while calling out the potential and typical lines never ceases to make for a hype tournament.
Dark World vs Mayakashi. The Dark World player lost the game at two points 2:40 is the less obvious. They should have used Accession and then let it sit the the Graveyard. Now with a negate in the Grapha fusion they could have more safely used Card Destruction. Then later they could still build the same board but also have a set Accession just in case they had another way to break the field. The other point was, as you said, they should have shuffled back Dakki with Unicorn. Granted I always try to find a way to set Accession because I play Number 22 over Number 23. You can chain Accession to a cards Dark Ruler no More and then chain Number 22 to Accession to target and negate the face-up Dark Ruler no More. Edit: I'm actually not sure that the Danger! Dark World player lost at all and they might have given up prematurely. It looked like they would survive that turn. If they did survive there was a very good chance that with Gates, Archives, a set Card Destruction, and 3 cards in hand they could have swung back and won.
I think they could have used masquerena after the small world and have diabolos as material so you could get the one card in their hand discarded but i didn't keep track if they had anything activatable in the graveyard so idk.
I think also the version of the deck they were on was a bit wack. Goldd and Beiige are not all that standard and I didn't see Lucent despite Ceruli being included.
@@colossaldonut5190 Yeah, Ceruli doesn't have much of a place in master duel without Lucent and that's only if you have good targets for Lucent. Beiige is also pretty out there because you want the level 5+ ones as they're Reign-Beaux targets.
I prefer having the option to link on opponent's turn with evil eye over the machineX. But I still summon it when I have all 3 lvl 3s. Using the effect to link is really good vs evenly matched.
Anytime Dark World loses, it's a good day. Dark World is everything wrong with Yu Gi Oh. No one wants to watch you play Solitaire for 30 minutes when their are other decks that end on the same boards that take less time to do.
Lol, this game is a running gag anyway... it doesn't matter who beats who with what deck.... I've played many of the top meta decks and I've found that the game basically rigs the matches anyway, likely by using an algorithm for what card draws have the lowest winning percentage. I even had a 60 card deck where I drew one card that I had one copy of three duels in a row.... that is not statistically possible, and its happen multiple times. I play a fair amount of decks that statistically should have VERY low brick rates, yet I constantly draw what I consider brick cards in my deck multiple matches in a row with the VERY few cards in my deck that I never want to draw because I need to be able to use other cards to search them.... Also, I have played in ranked when, I shit you not, I will play a different player name with the EXACT same deck back to back..... and this will does not happen a couple times. I actually played in sets of two, 7 different times I played different players, two different duelist each time, with the same decks being back to back to each other all with different names. It may have even been more, I stopped counting eventually. Even worse, these decks all happen to be decks that mine didn't do too well against.... I see a shit ton of people playing kashtira, I switch deck to counter and I will play 20 games with no kashtira decks even though I had just play like 8 of 10 times against kashtira before switching. That's not possible.... Then you have the rigs coin flip that when the game decides it want to knock me back several ranks, it just has me get heads 8 times in a row which has happened way more times than it should have. If I didn't just enjoy the game of yugioh so much, I would have long quit by now. Its obvious the winning algorithm is mostly only given to the people that spend a good amount of money on the shops. How would I know this? Because EVERY time I buy a good amount of gems to get the cards I need, when I play IMMEDIATELY after buying gems, I will play in ranked and win a lot.... This is has happened on multiple occasions EVERY time I've done it.... that's how I know. However, when I take a long break from spending money, that's when I start magically losing a lot.... People can believe me or not... but I have been playing frequent and long enough to know that these things can't possibly be coincidence.
welcome to card games where chance is always variable and thus is always a coincidence you will not be the first or the last to assume something is rig just because you feel it is rig lol
@@McDoodle101 Not rigged, yet some of the best yugioh players on youtube have openly said they suspiciously notice they only get a lot of ultra rares when they spend money on gems to open packs and not many at all, if any, with free gems.... Dkayed being one of the players that have said this. I also have noticed doing it myself.... so it sure don't seem like I'm the only "unlucky" one. And if there is an algorithm deciding that, then there are sure to be plenty of others. After all, they have the mechanic in the game that, when you play a card, it will tell you the win-rate of cards if you watch the replay. With just that, it would be easy to rig the game to manipulate what cards you draw off that mechanic alone.
@@Altares_V When something happen off and on, that's chance. However, it happens constantly and you can constantly do tests and see an actual pattern, that's no longer chance... that's designed intention. They even have the mechanic in the game that, when you play a card, it will tell you the win-rate of cards if you watch the game replay. With just that, it would be easy to rig the game to manipulate what cards you draw off that mechanic alone. The game may not be able to decide a winner due to the unpredictability of the human element, but it can give one player an edge to exploit in order to more easily beat their opponent.
@@coyote4961 the win rate and usage rate of cards is divorced from the company entirely... people run those cards because A: They win games, B: is what everyone is currently playing, C: the card is actually inexpensive and isn't obscure AF. The only edge people have in ygo master duel is the fact that people don't read the cards and are INCAPABLE of cheating digitally meaning someone who actually knows wtf they're doing will easily beat someone who doesn't. This is especially true if you are facing off against meta decks which has NOTHING to do with Komoney's influence on the client but has everything to do with what players are playing and what they specifically like to play lol. Keep believing a fantasy you can draw a conclusion from anything "patterns" in how bad you draw don't really influence anything nor do they allow you to prove something that doesn't actually exist because your experience is completely your own and isn't 1 - 1 indicative of everyone else's, even if the issues are similar.
Can we please agree that Dkayed is hard carrying the competitive scene of MasterDuel?
he's always worked hard for the comp scene, he did the same for duel links. NGL an unsung champion
