The Glow Effect wont work on my Paint why it just comes on the footage and when i turn the transparent thing on it vanshes completly? i did everything that he said...

when you said hit page down to go forward one frame at around 7:15 did you mean down with the arrows? bc that just kept moving where the left image was around the box

I need some help! Im not sure what I did but now whenever I draw on a new layer it won't show up in the composition. The first layer shows up no problem but when I add any more layers it won't show up. Any suggestions? Ive tried looking it up but nothing I find seems to fix my issue. I have even reset my preferences in after effects. I guess my next move will be to re install.
It's rather hard for me to draw accurately with the basic mouse i have. Do you have any mouse recommendations that allow smoother and more controllable drawing?

Yes, That is exactly right. I did not go into that in this tutorial because it is for beginners like in the title but you are right. You can drag them out if it is to fast and you can just paint the frames in between. One thing you can do is duplicate each paint and space them out to make the animation twice as long and it will be slower. One other neat trick. :)

Please Help! When I copy the paint effect from Video Clip to Solid, the Paint effect gets copied & it shows all the brushes I used, but the brushes have no content in it. Every Brush is empty without drawn frames. So I can not put effects on it. Please Help me.

So the step I missed was pre-composing the footage I want to paint, and then opening a new layer from there. Idk why I can't get it to do it the way most videos say but, this approach worked for me. Anyways, thanks for the responses!

what’s worked for me is to duplicate the original video (including paint and glow effects) and changing the blend mode of the copied video to screen and having the “paint on transparent” tab on hope it helps!

If you have a dance video that's 60fps, would you reduce it to 30fps first or do the full 60fps?
I would take it down to 30 if I did not want to do as much work

What the name of the program
when i apply my glow effect it adds on to the eraser tool how do i take the glow off the eraser strokes i made
I have never used the eraser in this situation so I am not sure what it even looks like

When i click paint on transparent The lines Are like a second Behind What I’ve actually done but when i turn it Off it’s back on track any solution?
try drag the video with the paint down the time line one second to off set it once you have finished all the editing on that layer.

A lot of people have said the same thing and I tell them to redo it and every time they fix it because they didn't do everything.
make sure channels is set to RGBA not the default RGB
