Sorry for the reupload...I just didn't think they would have flying aliens outside of the expanded universe. But after taking a closer look, I DO see wings on what appears to be a facehugger?!? What do you see?
yes, its faceflayer or cheststinger(infect by stinging), oooorrr, its "the bug" which was mentioned in second movie by marines, thats why facehugger cant hug his face. *yeap, its flying facehugger. wtf your teaser so clean?
@@alexprost7505 I'd bet money that it isn't. It's a bog standard facehugger thrashing around in zero g. Those "wings" are just it's legs shown at extreme close up perspective. The final shot of it hitting the viewport shows there's nothing extraordinary about it.
If you look closely you can tell it's a bug being attacked by a facehugger. That's why it's flying wildly spinning while trying to escape. That's why you keep seeing the facehugger legs and body crawling on the screen as it's flying through the corridors.
@@alexprost7505 What bug? There is no "THE bug." The bug Hunt comment was simply meant to imply that the marines are regularly called out to investigate bugs that turn out to be nothing. The Bug Hunt anthology trod all over this by depicting them regularly engaging in combat with non-xenomorph fauna, which makes no sense given their dismissive attitude prior to arriving at Hadley's Hope. I short; in the movie they'd never found anything before and they didn't expect to again. Hence why they weren't taking it seriously.
I hope it's really a flying facehugger, the cinematic universe needs fresh air instead of doing constant fan service by references to previous movies, especially after recent games and books have introduced so many new themes and forms of xeno. But are you sure it's not the inter-leg webbing of a royal facehugger? And by the way, where did you get the graphic of winged facehuggers from?
I believe that's from an arcade shooter called Aliens: Armageddon. It has a lot of crazy xenomorph variants. It's like the Earth War comic saga had a baby with the 90s Kenner action figures and then it grew up to be an arcade game. There's a full playthrough of it on TH-cam you can watch.
@@EricssonRotaryBiscuit Thanks for info! I really like both the Earth Hive and bizarre figure and comic xeno variants. I knew about flying queens, though I've never seen a winged facehugger.
@UFOanimations Same here. I love the cheesiness of the comics and games. Most of them would be awful as movies, but they have a certain charm in themselves.
I am not seeing flying, I am seeing it being thrown around but it might have some control with webbed fingers. The spaceship is tumbling into the atmosphere.
I thought that originally, but there is a dead guy on the ground, and he isnt moving, or floating freely. There is some smaller stuff moving around though, so who knows.
I think you're reading too much into it. What you're seeing as wings just look to me like the facehugger's legs from a lengthways perspective as the camera is between the top and the base. I'm far more intrigued by the fact that the first teaser shows a split second close up of what appears to be a goat or some other livestock towards the end.
There's no reason an Alien making it to Earth couldn't be good. The Outbreak comic series made a great job of it. The main problem here is the setting, being pre-Alien instead of post-Aliens. I really don't understand why Hollywood is so obsessed with making prequels for everything instead of actually moving stories forward.
@Concerned_Bystander I'm concerned with both. There are many reasons it may not be good. Look at the other two movies that are set on Earth. Alien literally is defined by something being unfamiliar. Earth is too bright for this franchise. And like you said...I've also considered the first movie to be humanities first encounter with the creature in its purest form. Like you I don't understand why we have to keep going prequel.
I actually watched his video before making mine, but we just happened to agree on what we saw for the most part, although i originally didnt think the facehugger was flying until a closer look.
@Abefroman-lq3md good showrunner (fargo s1, I don’t know about the other seasons). events after the prequels of riddley. riddley is involved. I think this is enough for a little optimism
@ Ridley has become a hack mate. He hasn’t made anything decent since the Martian. The continuity just doesn’t add up. It may look good, but the story concept really stretches internal credibility.
@Abefroman-lq3md Its funny because I didnt like the Martian either, here I meant that there might be a continuation of the story of the prequels or the beginning of a third prequel, the most interesting part of the story in the series in my opinion

hard to tell, but it is a chance that is "the bug" mentioned by marines from second movie

If you look at the standstill image with the red arrow you can see a leg that looks like it has little hairs@@EricssonRotaryBiscuit
Thank you!! Everyone’s been saying “omg, an alien is flying!” Like c’mon man, yall really think they’d do that??
@@jordancrossgrove8827 I think we will have a flying xeno and I think the teaser shows that
Did you see a small chestburster at 0:13 of the original teaser? It is flying left to right very quickly.
Seems like some new kind of Facehugger thats bouncing around the Walls as the ship Rolls out of control towards Earth
Highly dubious that was wings.
Seems more like zero G than a flying facehugger.

I had the flying Xenomorph toy in the 90's Kenner line

This a game? Seems the graphics are game based
😱
Your voice sounds like the baseline test from Blade Runner
It´s always Florida
decompression?
gravity? ship is falling vertically.
No gravity in space, unless caused by another phenomena or a large mass. Just enjoy the teaser, stop looking for things to complain about.
as always, aliens crashing in america....
I can't find any reason why setting this on Earth can be a good thing. Space means Alien. Earth isn't Alien.

@UFOanimations I've never watched a good Alien movie where they landed on Earth. I mean specifically this franchise. Have you?
@@TaxemicFanatic Yes, actually AVP Requiem is my favorite of all the movies in franchise. I know I am in vast minority, I just have a weird taste.
