So many epic moments like and better than this will appear, but this one have a special place in my heart! I will join this unique journey again with you in your reactions, because this is the show of my life! He taught me a bunch of good things to carry on my life, and i know he taught millions of other people too... I wish you all the best and enjoy this unique and emotional journey called NARUTO! NOW THE SHOW REALLY STARTS, consider the episodes you watch until here just a Tutorial to feel whats Naruto is! Much love from Brazil! ♥
I like to think Zabuza was actually a noble guy who "played" evil. Idk if you guys remember this or not, but his ultimate goal was to assassinate their tyrannical Mizukage, the one who made the academy students kill each other for graduation, and replace him as Mizukage. He failed in his first attempt and had to flee and live as an outlaw. IIRC, all the jobs he took were to raise funds and gather resources for a second attempt.
Fun fact 1: Zabuza cut off Gato's head in the manga, while it was censored in the this episode Fun fact 2: Gato literally means Cat and as you can see he looks like a Cat himself Fun fact 3: The Great Naruto Bridge really exists in Japan and the actual aerial view of the place where the bridge is located is clearly seen at the end of the episode
2: No, it doesn't mean Cat in japanese, Cat is Neko in japanese, it's gato in spanish and it's not that the meaning, it's the japanese translitteration of the frech word gâteau, which is cake.
There was censored moments in this episode, Zabuza cuts Gato's head in the manga and his arms are broken. Remember well about Zabuza's sword, it has his importance. First mission complete, time to go home now...for real things👊🏾
Kakashi didn't do the "Shadow Clone Jutsu". He did the clone jutsu which is just "images", not actual bodies like Naruto can summon. It was more to intimidate them.
10:48 Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is not a secret technique, it's not even exclusive of Konoha shinobi, it's a jonin level jutsu and Kakashi is one of the best jonin of his village. Simply he doesn't use it so much or with many clones because Kage Bunshin, unlike water clone or other similar cloning technique, doesn't allow you to decide how much chakra you distribute to your clone, it's always equally divided between you and your clones, which makes it actually easier and less complicated to use, but it's also more dangerous because the more clone you use the less chakra you have to perform high level jutsu.
@ he used the same hand sign of kage bunshin, and to make a lot of kage bunshin you don’t need a lot of chakra, even if you are just a bit of it you just create clones with equally divided chakra that, however, would last only for a few seconds before disappearing since the chakra would finish soon, that’s why he called it a bluff.
@ they are shadow clones, to use the bunshin no jutsu you need several hand signs, Kakashi used the one of the shadow clone jutsu, in fact the clones even talked and have voices while ordinary bunshin have no voice, no sound, no shadow, no consistency, they are basically after images. Kakashi knows shadow clone and used it several times in next fights, and to do many shadow clones you don’t need a minimum amount of chakra, even if you have 2 drops of chakra you can make dozens of clones with those 2 drops divided between you and all the clones, but they will last only a few seconds and then disappear. Shadow clone is that convenient, you can make how many clones you want, the amount of chakra you have determine how long they will last. In fact when Naruto used it against Kakashi at the bells test Kakashi thought that considering Naruto chakra quantity back then the clones wouldn’t have last more than a minute before disappearing.
@@Kal911 probably, but In manga Kakashi said "I can't manage anything solid with my current low chakra" . But probably that was not literal meaning of Solid
Guys, let me tell you something..... Not a single Naruto villain is pure evil....they are just broken heros 💔 Bye the way, when zabuza strat to crying, it was my first time when I cried watching a show 😅.... Naruto is an emotion...
This episode was the first one i saw of Naruto. This made me watch the series. Please react to English dub of this episode. The word choice is so much better than the direct translation of sub.

God, 20 years later the ending of this arc still hits like a truck. Still makes me tear up a bit every time I watch it.

15:06 I swear the writer put this scene because he knew he just made everyone cry or hold back tears 😂

Gato is in Portuguese too, so he's right. He said this is the translation, he didn't say WHICH@@Kal911I'm Brazilian by the way
This episode is too much beautiful.
R.I.P. Haku, Zabuza. You will be missed.
I think haku wanted to see what would naruto do to make sure his(haku) ninja way is right, like do everything to protect people that he love
Mann this episode made me choke up a little 😔 Haku and Zabuza will never be forgotten R.I.P.
Haku do that , he never mean to kill anyone. Sometimes subtitled has many mistakes ❤
Welcome to Naruto. You're in for a wild ride.
15:11 Baymax: It is all right to cry. Crying is a natural response to pain.
The end of the first arc. It only gets better from here

The anime is censored to a certain extent. In the manga Zabuza literally cuts Gatos head off.
This episode is legend ❤

I don't think kakashi actually used it. Kakashi made a "bluff". He made illusions. He didn't have enough chakra left for a lot of clones.
Kakashi's clone were not physical, just similar to those which were required to become genin
