Great arrangement
This song was played at my fathers funeral. I was 12. I remember loving the message of the song, but I didn’t like how sad it felt. I’m so happy to have found a happier version of this song because I always envisioned the message with a spirit of gratefulness and joy... for being excited to meet Him, rather than being afraid, no matter the circumstances. It’s a very powerful message. ❤️

I was expecting a comment like this. It's fascinating to see what it would be like if she went down today, but with advancements in tech she would have faded into history cause another ship would have been powerful enough to get to it in time.
I am absolutely in ‘awe’ over this cover. “Nearer, My God, to Thee” is my number one favorite hymn. For surely felt some emotion when I listened to this - definitely gave a feeling of peace. I could listen to this version over & over. Everyone’s voices blended so so well.
