Girl you missed the point HARD. How could you watch the state of their lives and then compare them to yours as a reason why life isn't bad enough to risk it for money. Main character was losing his daughter, his mother, his kidney and eyes, ALL of it. Sang-woo was about to lose not just everything he had, everything HIS MOTHER has, and also be sent to prison. Some of us are lucky enough to not have those kind of struggles, but that's why we all have to stay aware of our priviledge

They totally missed the point of Ali representing pureness and trust, I considered that a HUGE 🚩
I understand what you were saying ofc about how could that game be better than the real world, but I think you missed the point that the episode is supposed to show that it really isn't for the poor. Life is such hell that it's easier to die than live, you know? I assume that you and i are living on better means than the characters so it's hard to understand why they would go back, bc we put ourselves in their shoes. But they're in a position where there is no other choice.
Yes. Some of them were absolutely justified being there and recognized it as their only hope to save their families. But some of them had other options, or were about to face rightful legal consequences, or were just greedy or addicted to the game. So I see it both ways

I like your reactions, but you definitely missed the point of this episode. Especially when you compared yourself to them. "Hell" is literally the outside world. They have no chance. They will die or have to watch family members die or never see them again because they were scammed trying to cross into the border and their siblings are in orphanages (I'm not sure if it's an orphanage, but I think so). They make the point many times that at the very least they have a chance in the games. Also, who knows, there could be a chance that you die and then the members vote again to quit and the money is sent to your family. Of course, I'm not sure about everybody in that room, but it did show they are all in MAJOR debt....like the debt that you just can never pay off, ever. Again, I love your reactions and I'm about to watch the next episode you reacted to, but I just wanted to say maybe rewatch this after you finish and you'll see what the people who made the show were saying here and I think they said it so well. See! The people in masks gave them *TWO* opportunities to leave. First time, before they even signed the contracts. Most people should have left then, because they drugged you to get you there, changed your clothes and took your items, are all wearing masks, and just gave so many red flags. The second time, y'all voted. Everyone who came back knew what they were getting themselves into. And even then, if you all decide to vote later on to end the games, *YOU STILL CAN*. Everyone is there willingly. Also Ali and Sae-Byeok are my favourites.

what plot holes 💀 she's literally being tone deaf by not understanding what situation these characters live in and comparing her comfortable life with their miserable lives. the whole point of the episode is to show that potentially dying is the easier option for them than living in the conditions they're in.
Can you please react to SANTA CLARITA DIET (zombie alert!) & WRECKED (Lost "parody") & THE DETOUR (Road trip style)??? They are all really awesome brilliant shows (just like Arrested development) with ONLY around 30 episodes (20min long) so you can finish them pretty fast!
