Buenos días amigo ossi saludos, de verdad muy bien sonido tienen esas congas, tremendos instrumentos seria de provecho que fabriquen bongos con ese buen sonido que ya tiene la conga.

Could anyone tell me what the exact sizes of these drums are and what material they are made from? Ossi makes custom sizes. For example, the conga on the website is 11.5 inches instead of the traditional 11.75 inch conga.

Hi! These drums are made out of solid shell birch. We make standard sizes 10", 11", 11.75 " and 12.5". The custom shop line can feature special sizes, we can custom make shells in any size between 9-16". Please don't hesitate to contact me for any questions. Www.ossipercussion.com

@@ossipercussion3894 Wow! Thank you for such a prompt response on that information. Wasn't sure if the quinto was mahogany. Anyway,I saw the fire orange set on the website= 11.5 conga and 12.5 tumba and can't stop admiring them. Hopefully some day I will have the means to acquire a set. For a few hundred dollars more one could purchase superior quality as compared to the high-end mainstream big company drums.

The quinto sounds extremely good. What kind of wood is it made of? Where can I buy a drum like that?

    • @ossipercussion3894

Thanks Robyn. The set is made in Finland with locally sourced birch wood and premium steer skins. Check out the website Www.ossipercussion.com

@@ossipercussion3894 Thanks for the answer. I found and checked your homepage out a couple of weeks ago, and I really like your values and philosophy, and of course your drums which I find beautiful with a wonderful crispy sound. I'm from Denmark, and if I had a helicopter, I would definetely pay you a visit tomorrow and order at least a quinto, conga and tumba.

Maestría nada mas base y simetría sin perder la base que fundamenta el solo no es tirar golpes ni rapidez es darle forma al solo sin perder el mas mínimo compás de su desarrollo
