Something I noticed about Exorcism is that unlike most of PGR's other tracks, it doesn't build so much as it changes. The virus isn't just spreading now, it's evolving. It's LEARNING. Really adds to the eldritch horror.

never played the game but it definitely gives me a feeling of something otherworldly, the dark and chaotic electronic music gives a sense of menacing power but without rythm, a threat but not a smart one. until the violin starts to come in, mixed with the chaotic power, where now the realization that you're not dealing with an otherworldly monster, you're dealing with an otherworldly threat, one that was underestimated and one that can think of plans that weren't thought of before, it gained the most dangerous weapon of all. Intelligence
I think one of the nice things about Punishing Gray Raven's story is how none of the side stories are just... separate tales that have nothing to do with the main chapters. The Noan-centric side story is important to understand how the Abystigma frame works as a whole, how it helped with the advancement for the Hyperreal frame and quite possibly other specialized frames in the future, and the motivations of one of the characters further into the story. Go read the side stories (if you want to), guys. As for the story itself... it just really gave me Call of Cthulhu/Dead Space vibes that I really enjoyed ngl They should do more horror-like chapters in the future.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the many years I’ve been playing anywhere from absolute shit to legitimately high quality mobile games is that, when you find the good ones, ones that don’t put absolutely everything behind a paywall and puts actual effort into balancing. The music and gameplay is ALWAYS absolutely phenomenal. I wish you guys got the recognition you deserve
I rarely post any comment on youtube videos, but i have to make an exception for this channel. Vanguard sound studio deserves way more likes, subscribers and recognition, like 1 million at the bare minimum. It's unreal how you can make a game such as PGR (which is 10/10 in my opinion) 10 times better with the soundtrack. What is more incredible is that some games have like 1 or 2 songs which are very good, but in PGR, there are just so many I lost count, it's actually the contrary, you find 1 or 2 songs you're not very fan of, most of them are just stunning. Man, I am currently listenning to PGR music more often than I listen to my favorite band. When it comes to my favorite band I have to make some intervals before listening to their songs again, but I just can't stop listenning to PGR music, it's like an inexhaustible dopamin source, i don't get bored even tho I listen to it every day. Congrats for your amazing work. Best game soundtrack I've ever heard so far. Please, keep up the excellent work. I'm rooting for you.
It's not even a feat anymore it's so common these days. As long a mobile game is a gacha you'll be getting good music , but for the gameplay it depends. Probably the budget is the key here to hire outstanding composers and music producers. I've been so used to this at this point , that I can listen music to all sorts of games. No one should really discriminate good music
Yea, literally like every time the new Pgr OST comes out, It feels like its too much for a video game... Most of the time there's no even gameplay for this level of deepness. However, it fits nicely on a hardcore difficulty content.
5:02 at this point of the song my airpods for some reason broke and both started to play the music at different speed, but somehow that made song sound even better.
Agreed, last part is that banging stuff we need from this ost. Perhaps what made the final part really good is the afore 5 minutes of pure tense and sinister aura. This piece as a whole is just breathtaking.
