Yeah, I usually start out with a spaghetti mess of code and then before I make a video out of it, I try to refine it as much as possible to make it easier to read, and thus teach. Believe me, my code is usually MUCH more... like Scotty's work on the Enterprise. "The energizer's bypassed like a Xmas tree, so don't give me too many bumps."
I used this method with a searchfield and combo box to search & select a specific customer. I made an ‘After update’ event in the combo box to ‘jump’ to the customer selected in the combo box. I guess you could do the same here: instead of using an button to add the address, do it with an After update event.
