Pig Destroyer - Pretty in Casts and Gravedancer (covers)

Two kickass songs off of Terrifyer, probably my favorite PD album (though Prowler is a tough contender too). Probably my favorite song off of this album is Towering Flesh but I didn't feel like tuning my 7 to Eb which is I think what he uses for that song. And learning the solo would be a bit of a pain :p

Yes, Scott does use 7 strings. However, to my understanding they use a variety of guitars and tunings. Prowler is pretty much all in Bb standard, but Terrifyer employs several tunings (mostly 7 string A standard, which is how I'm tuned here). For Pretty in Casts I'm using the low A, but for Gravedancer, I'm essentially playing it in D standard, not touching the low string. I'm pretty sure it could be played in drop D tuning if you wanted to, not sure what he used on the album.
