Phil was quite nasty in 1996, but it was the booze. A lot of the roots of the booze was that lad who died in the car lot, and his regret over Sharongate. Phil seemed excited to be a father when Kathy was pregnant but Frank returned and it bought the car lot death memories back and Phil started drinking again. Phil even said to Kathy in about 2015 that the car lot death is what started making him hit the bottle.
yet the writers think its in character for him to try and flat out murder people lol its like the modern day writers don't know a thing about his History.
@@spencerreid2086 I know. Phil and Frank were never the same again. Phil turned to booze and became an addict and Frank did a runner and had a nervous breakdown. In 2023 the writers like us to think he is this cold blooded killer yet never allow him to murder someone.
