    What a revelation.
I feel like I have stumbled across something very very important.
l have done a couple of retreats here in Australia over the years and got so much out of them, but your explanation of the 6 R’s will be of great help to me with mindfulness meditation in the future.
For this l am deeply grateful.

Did I miss the actual definition of the letters TWIM? Might have bern distracted when he said it.

Bhante Vimalaramsi Thank you Bhante for personally replying. What a pleasant surprise! I have been meditating and studying for about eight years starting out in Tibetan then to Theravada with two monks from Thailand. Almost went to a Goenka retreat at their recommendation. I knew four years ago that all that self-torture couldn't have possibly been right.
It's a long story and I'll save it for when I meet you, hopefully soon at Dhamma Sukkha. The great news is that after listening to Ven. Punnaji for over a year now, and seeing you with him, I started listening to you again.
You will be happy to know
that I entered the First Jhana twice now after listening to your teaching. I believe I actually briefly entered Second Jhana last night.
Thank you for persisting all those years in Burma and then for finding the answers in the Suttas. My daughter, at my request, bought me a copy of the Majjhima Nikaya for my birthday and I can now read it and understand it (thanks to the Ven. Punnaji's translations of key concepts).
He gave me the tools, but you have given me the priceless gift of instructions in exactly how The Buddha taught to use the tools.
      Isn't this just wonderful?
May you be well, comfortable, peaceful, and happy.

Bhante, you mentioned two suttas not belonging originally in the Majjhima Nikaya, one being MN20. I was wondering which is the other sutta that doesn't belong originally in the middle length discourses? Thank you.

It is MN 24 - it contains references to Insight Knowledges which are from Vipassana and the Vissudhi Magga 1500 years later.
