You do know you landed flaps 20. Which is why you had such a high angle of attack on the approach. With basically no flare on landing. Nevertheless, good landing at flaps 20.

Tony Dxb PFPX gives far more granular control over flight planing parameters. it remains to be my preferred flight planing tool. with this said EFASS NG looks very promising but I haven't really tested it properly yet.

I load the aircraft in and I'm starting from cold and dark and I've noticed that my fuel balance is off before I add anything.. starting it has like 2.3 in the left and none in the right.. I try to load fuel but it only goes to the left.. am I making a simple mistake or ??

The flight model is actually pretty good. A friend of mine is a real 747-400 pilot and he says that flying this in the sim is pretty close to the real aircraft. Not completely spot on, but close enough!
Wonderful videos mate :) I just recently got onto X-plane.. really wonderful sim, has all the things FSX and Prepar3d were missing all these years... really good! However, the TrackIR head movement really has been a sim-killer for me, the fact that you can move your head completely out of the cockpit and behind the seat, regardless of my trackir settings, I think is a huge let down from the team at X-plane.. no other sim I use does this.. The cockpit should have 'hard' edges that you can't physically move beyond. Just like in real life ;) Myself, and a few other people I know, have basically deleted the sim because of this . Would love to know your thoughts on this, and how you manage it. Thanks!

Thanks a million for watching and for letting me that this is what you like to see. I had asked in the past, and most folks prefer this format. Hence I try to keep most flight videos in the range of about 25-40 minutes tops. Thanks again =)
Osamah, a question, why you fly to slow? I search in Internet and discovered that you fly for example at Mach 0.55-0.60, but the the normal Mach for a B747 is 0.86
The cruising speed is set and calculated by the FMC depending on payload, FOB, and cruise altitude. The FMC will calculate based on the best speed for fuel economy. You can of course alter these values, but I wasn't flying slow at all in this case =)
Yeah that's what happened to me as well, sorted it with ortho4xp by creating a tile (new file)- just shout me an email if you have problems. Na im not bothered ;-)
That is disappointing to hear just 5/10. I thought with the recent update the 747 was a lot better. I am making the switch to XP from P3D and was going to buy this as my first airliner. But it seems like the 757/ 767 are better options.
Was hoping for more. It is shame that X-Plane does not have yet proper payware variety. We are pretty much stuck with A320/330 and B737/757/767. I hope this will change in future now when X-Plane 11 is released.
Amazing! where do you have your heart now Q8pilot? p3d or xplane? on one hand p3d has amazing addons (maybe slightly better flight dynamics). xplane is graphically superior but has a much smaller dev community. even Orbx cancelled their xplane project. I'm not sure which sim to invest in!
Just saw your comment regarding FF A350...I bought the FF A350 and am really disappointed. it looks great but now it always fails to load correctly, crashes, external views have landing gear missing on ground. I now don't fly it and have deleted it. gonna get the 747-8

Are you referring to the Aircraft performance data or flight plan export? There isn't a flight plan export, you will need to enter the plan manually into the FMC.
Disregard I was mistaken. Also you actually don't have to enter it manually. You can use a .fms flight plan like for the default aircraft flight plans. In the FMC if you push INIT PREF then I believe it is NAV DATA top right RSK 1R (if I remember correctly) and click execute. This will bring up a window with all the .fms flight plans in your OUTPUT>FMS Plans folder and just select the one you want. Took me a bit to figure that out but it preloads all the waypoints speeds/altitudes.

Osama, Did you noticed the plane vspeed is way off?? I get 4500fpm using vnav !!! and accordign to SSG manual the max vspeed above fl200 is 2000!! This plane is so buggy.. In my opinion its a joke and is not worth 55$
Osama, While I agree it has been under development for almost 2 years. When I buy an Aircraft I want it to at least be close to complete. other than a great 3d model (also only on the exterior) this AirCraft is a joke for flight simulation and a representation of a Boeing plane. IMHO not worth more than 25$
I just brought the aircraft and for the life of me I can't start the engines. I have air bleed on and but the spinning power to crank them up. Can anyone help?
If you use XPLANE11, you should copy some files. Read the manual: ".....because the download package includes both the XP10 and XP11 aircraft files for the add-on, XP11 users have one additional step that they need to accomplish. You have to REPLACE the main “.acf” file with the corresponding XP11 compatibility “.acf” version. This file has an identical name for both XP versions and can be found zipped in the “ACF XP 11” folder for each SSG aircraft (Freighter and/or Intercontinental). Unzip the file and replace the XP10 version with the corresponding XP11 one, the “ACF XP 11” folder will then still have the zipped file. See the screenshot below that depicts the “ACF XP 11” folder in a red box as well as the “.acf” file that needs to be replaced with a red arrow." Then you can start it.
I have a new problem...i had it working right I have to reformat my rig and reinstalled everything and now the ssg 747 starts with not everything working with the trucks stuck on the plane even when I switch the acf files... and the screen to put in my credentials saying I bought the plane doesn't show. pls help!!
So what I have seen from X-Plane 11 - is my impression correct? Basically some very good UI changes... Object rendering and scenery, flying experience, they basically stay the same as in XPlane 10? I know object rendering and computer limitations etc etc are a hard task, but still - XPlane scenery (Airports etc., not the planes) always looked pretty unsexy, 90s CGI style...
Actually rendering has completely changed in x-plane 11. Lighting, reflections and the flight model all have been improved. You can access the release notes here www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-00-release-notes/. The Autogen has drastically changed as well and there is massive difference from XP10. XP 11 is a brand new sim if you ask me.
Really ssg you could have not included better sounds then xplane 9 default onse??? Shame on you, you charge 55$ for a plane that sounds like a 747 from xplane 9 BRUUUH
This airplane still has some minor issues and much in-terms of avionics is not modeled. Interior wise the lower cabin is not modeled only the upper cabin. No support for Navigraph with moving maps, etc. X planes default has more here than this. The EFB/tablet is mickey mouse, the VSI does not work properly, on and on it goes to many things to list and not enough aspirin. This is still JUNK and not worth 65 cents let alone $65. Probably one of the worst deals on the the market when compared to the zibo mod. PERIOD.

The only thing I see which could cause the stutter is the Graphic card perhaps. When was the last time you cleaned your fans and motherboard? Can you tell if your reg is overheating?

The 777 has some imperfections but it is a good aircraft and in some ways , it's study level since it is officially produced with boeing's agreement

The first thing I would check is if I am using the latest version of the aircraft. Are you doing this in XP11?

The installer is easy yes, just copy the aircraft files in the aircraft folder and you are done!

HDR one notch down, Anti aliasing 4X+FXAA, Texture max without compression, World Detail notch down, reflection on full. No shadow on scenery.

Definitely X-Plane 11! I'm now on P3D, but as soon as I get my new bought computer (i5-6600k w/ GTX 1070), I will buy XP11 and migrate to it :)

Does this have RAAS call outs?🤔Perhaps you need to update your FMC through Navigraph, try that.

Beacon light should be on before starting engines and while starting it. When taxing is, beacon light should be off.

Yes the only one is a Cargo 747-400. But in the world of flight simulation fictitious liveries is common.
747 passengers don't fly anywhere anymore, just cargo 747F's !

Osama, Did you noticed the plane vspeed is way off?? I get 4500fpm using vnav !!! and accordign to SSG manual the max vspeed above fl200 is 2000!! This plane is so buggy.. In my opinion its a joke and is not worth 55$

Osama, While I agree it has been under development for almost 2 years. When I buy an Aircraft I want it to at least be close to complete. other than a great 3d model (also only on the exterior) this AirCraft is a joke for flight simulation and a representation of a Boeing plane. IMHO not worth more than 25$

I just brought the aircraft and for the life of me I can't start the engines. I have air bleed on and but the spinning power to crank them up. Can anyone help?
If you use XPLANE11, you should copy some files. Read the manual: ".....because the download package includes both the XP10 and XP11 aircraft files for the add-on, XP11 users have one additional step that they need to accomplish. You have to REPLACE the main “.acf” file with the corresponding XP11 compatibility “.acf” version. This file has an identical name for both XP versions and can be found zipped in the “ACF XP 11” folder for each SSG aircraft (Freighter and/or Intercontinental). Unzip the file and replace the XP10 version with the corresponding XP11 one, the “ACF XP 11” folder will then still have the zipped file. See the screenshot below that depicts the “ACF XP 11” folder in a red box as well as the “.acf” file that needs to be replaced with a red arrow."
Then you can start it.

I have a new problem...i had it working right I have to reformat my rig and reinstalled everything and now the ssg 747 starts with not everything working with the trucks stuck on the plane even when I switch the acf files... and the screen to put in my credentials saying I bought the plane doesn't show. pls help!!

So what I have seen from X-Plane 11 - is my impression correct? Basically some very good UI changes... Object rendering and scenery, flying experience, they basically stay the same as in XPlane 10? I know object rendering and computer limitations etc etc are a hard task, but still - XPlane scenery (Airports etc., not the planes) always looked pretty unsexy, 90s CGI style...
Actually rendering has completely changed in x-plane 11. Lighting, reflections and the flight model all have been improved. You can access the release notes here www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-00-release-notes/. The Autogen has drastically changed as well and there is massive difference from XP10. XP 11 is a brand new sim if you ask me.
Really ssg you could have not included better sounds then xplane 9 default onse??? Shame on you, you charge 55$ for a plane that sounds like a 747 from xplane 9 BRUUUH

This airplane still has some minor issues and much in-terms of avionics is not modeled. Interior wise the lower cabin is not modeled only the upper cabin. No support for Navigraph with moving maps, etc. X planes default has more here than this. The EFB/tablet is mickey mouse, the VSI does not work properly, on and on it goes to many things to list and not enough aspirin. This is still JUNK and not worth 65 cents let alone $65. Probably one of the worst deals on the the market when compared to the zibo mod. PERIOD.

The only thing I see which could cause the stutter is the Graphic card perhaps. When was the last time you cleaned your fans and motherboard? Can you tell if your reg is overheating?
