    Always got mixed up between serum and plasma. I'd learn it and understand it one day, and the next day I'd be second-guessing myself and have to look it up AGAIN. Plasma - clot = serum makes so much more sense to my brain. I've spent 3 years flip-flopping serum and plasma and being uncertain... Thank you so much.

    If serum doesn't contain WBCs where do they go? bcoz the clot contains RBCs+platelets+clotting factors. WBCs don't just vanish into thin air, do they?
    One more question, what do you mean by serum cannot clot and plasma can clot? They both don't contain any blood cells and the process of clotting needs platelets+RBCs. Also it is whole blood that clots, right? Plz clarify that sentence.😊😊

    So, basically you’re just using the anticoagulant tube to separate the serum from the plasma? If you use a regular tube the serum will automatically be there if left standing?

    Don't forget; there are additives that can induce the clotting factors. Changing your standing time from 60 minutes to 30!

    If serum does not contain fibrin then why is there a test called serum fibrinogen test

      The clotting factors are the ones that make fibrin, so it’s almost the same thing!

    it said this on our test restulats dont know what it means. ? who knows. we have to go to the doctors to find out what it means. we could ask on other stuff too like our the time we got beat up it still hurts n' our hurt neck, too. if this is stupid questions on this. ? they're done with the test or not but what it means we dont know got to find out what to do next. really we dont know. it's doubtful the tests are all in yet. so wait to see if we get medicine. more waiting for resulats another test confirming with this plasma test maybe. then go get medicine. it said reactive. we saw tha tguy on the bus n' another girl talkin bout him like we feel. she said stuff she's like us really. he needs to quit spreading this 3 000 or 30 000 in usa a year get this. we dont know.
