- Hi, I’m back from my confinement funk with a fun coaster project requested by umm_aisha78, one of my Instagram and TH-cam followers, she wanted me to show the process of making opal coasters, I thank her for the challenge, I needed the push. I don’t have any opal plastic sheets but I do have lots of glitters and chunks that will do the job from Laura's Art Corner laurasartcorner.net

very pretty. Love the way the camera picked up all the "opal" colors!
These are STUNNING !!!! A tip for anyone who doesnt have modge podge, just do this in 3 layers instead of 2. Do the 2nd layer with glitter as its own layer and for the 3rd layer add the green and gold, you will get the same results 💁🏽♀️😋

Thank you for being one of the very few resin artists that is willing to share their knowledge and amazing skills with us all! Quick question, does Lauras Art Corner ship to the UK?
She shipped to me and I'm in France :) I have a trick to find out shipping destinations, just put something in the basket and go to the check out, then go as far as putting your address in and that will tell you but in doubt, just send her an email or an instagram message: )

Where do you get the molds? Also with freeform molds do you suggest using transparent film?
I make them myself. I use acetate film for projector it lies flat and won't crease like film.

Edna , how much time did you give in between layers on the first coaster . The video doesn’t say .
@@Unicorn33377 its depends on the cure time of your particular resin, the resin i used is a 24 hour cure, then i painted on top 🥰

It colours the resin....
Are you using hair dryer???
