Two points to keep in mind when it comes to the Egyptians building the pyramids.
1.) I bet if you went back in time with photographs (or perhaps drawings) of modern buildings and no description of how they were made, the ancient Egyptians would probably think they were built by higher powers. But once you show them the first few steps, they would recognize things like foundations, scaffolding, organized workers with specific tasks, hammers, rulers, drills, blueprints, geometry, massive pieces of building materials being transported around, etc... Sure, there'd be a lot of stuff they'd have zero concept of, but that goes for us as well looking back on them the same way.
2.) The absolutely overwhelming evidence they were built by Egyptians at the time. We might not have the absolute details of every miniscule procedure since they were built over 4,000 years ago, but there IS a lot of information on papyrus scripts found in the area: who built them, when they built them, how long it took, records of payment and injuries, quarries, it goes on an on.
Personal opinion: If aliens DID play a role in showing them complex mathematics, geometry, physics, engineering a building, etc... it would have been a dick move for them to NOT show them how a circle can be turned into a wheel.

The bulk of the work has to be done in the early stage of building the pyramid. Bottom half of the pyramid contains 80% of all the material where it was significantly easier to put. The area of the Great Pyramid is about 52 900m² which gives a lot of room to put few maybe more blocks at the same time. You really people think that when they were building the Pyramids, Egyptians where cutting one block, hauling it to the site, puting it on place and repeat? When they finished quarter of the pyramid, they were more skilled and organized than when they started and with each "floor" the had less blocks to put therefore more people could be assigned to one block to compensate the high of the pyramid.

Don't worry, he is just a good sheep repeating what he was taught !
My father is an archaeologist and egyptologist and he is the first one to admit that either the great ne was built over 200 years by people with knowledge of mathematics and geometry 3000 year ahead of their time. OR it was built in the time given by people who used tools far superior to what we have today.
It is impossible for any engineer today, regardless of how many people they use and the tool they use, to build the grat pyramid in 20 years. So the real question is "How did they do it in 20 years with the tools they had. Because they could use the entire planet's population today and it wouldn't be built in 20 years either. Actually the largest stone in the great Pyramid is 80 tons. Which is the weight of a space shuttle, except it has no wheel to roll on, so what every egyptologist and every engineer wants to know is how an 80 tons block of granite was not only move up 45 meters from the ground but also and more importantly dragged over 800km 500 miles from Aswan !

@@keronodiean3048 lol I stopped at around 43 I think... this is akin to locking someone in a basement their whole life and just telling them that the sky is red and you are King of Earth, and the captive just goes "wow that's amazing, thanks for the info, your highness"
Again, I admit. I stopped around 43 or whatever, but no mention of the Sphinx original, non-human head form? Or the layers of "water damage" markings, dating back over 10,000 years? Or that if this supposed 20 years time to build the Great Pyramid, even with all those people, how FAST they'd have to work, either with no break or with another worker ready and waiting to INSTANTLY fill in, and not miss a beat, just to perfectly place each stone?
Look I'm not saying Aliens BUILT them, or the post credit scene of DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is accurate history and a guy with telekinesis did it by himself.... but the REALITY is that there is plenty of evidence, not just here in Egypt, but all around the world, that simply shows that we have been taught is quite likely very different from what actually was, and our ancient civilizations had much more advanced methods and technologies that we give them credit for---- and it isnt "pseudoscience," as some of these pompous people like to say. There are legit, highly educated, intelligent, respected people that have studied and talk about it.
Being so closed minded doesn't help anything, or anyone for that matter.

Infographics dude I love you man, your consistent dedication to content is admirable to say at least. I'm just a little peeved that this outdated presumption is still presented as fact in our school books. To say "We don't really know who built them" is really the only thing we can know. To support this line of thought, the Egyptians always kept highly detailed and accurate records of everything they did and not one of them mentions building the pyramids.. I mean this goes in the same category as pharaohs buried above ground were sure to never find their way to the after life realm, that's why they always put them underground. Just one example, Other examples are the fact that Pyramid structures that very closely resemble the great pyramids can be found all over the world and have been, suspected at least, to exist on other solar bodies.. Can we at least present the equally likely supposition that our distant relatives could have used their brains and fingers and reasoning to possibly create a highly advanced global civilization before ours? I mean there is dawning the reality that nothing living above ground approximately 12000 years ago survived the firey consumption of the biomass followed with a near 400' rise in sea-level!?
We could not, cannot know what the planet was really like before.

Pyramids are basically piles. It's a fairly obvious and easy shape and is very durable purely as a result of the shape. The assumption that there was high technology is unnecessary because 1) it left no traces in the archaeological record 2) everything the Egyptians did when they built the pyramids can be done with a low level of technology and has been duplicated 3) working in stone is typical of less developed cultures, not high tech. The Romans used concrete instead and it's lasted two millennia. 4) we have written records from people who built the pyramids, the papyri of Merer. Check out the Scientists Against Myths channel. It's a good place to start. Also World of Antiquity. These 'ancient high tech' stories are almost always from people who don't know ancient history or construction.

I'm sorry but your supposition has been debunked about how the Pyramids were built. There is NOT 1 modern example of even a single block of stone being cut with the example of bronze tools to date. Each and every time the bronze chisels and saws are completely ruined after no more then a two dozen hits. All examples show the instructors giving up after a few hours and then resorting to modern hand tools and even then it takes days to cut just one. There are estimated at nearly 500 million blocks over 1 to 10 ton that was cut. It is estimated that each Pyramid was built in 20 years time. It is not possible, doing the math, that this could be possible given the tools which were found. NO aliens did not build the Pyramids, however, the tools which have been discovered, most definitely did not carve hundreds of millions of ton of stone blocks in said about of time. I have a Master's in Ancient Architecture. I enjoy your channel, however, this time my friends, your information is clearly in the wrong.
