Hello sir, do companies re-use serial numbers of products delivered by their vendors (so they scan them during registration?), or do they create their brand new serial numbers during registration? If they re-use vendor's, the functionality to create would not be necessary, right? Thank you
A very simple technique: Create a transfer journal, in the "FROM DIMENSIONS" select item, site, warehouse, serial number and in the "TO DIMENSIONS" select everything as same, just change the serial number and post the journal. After posting you will see that your serial number changed.
