We can understand Deductive and Inductive w/ a simple trick:
D-G-I-S (alphabetical order)
D means deductive
G means general
I means inductive
S means specific
It means Deductive is an approach that starts with general topic and then is specified
And Inductive is an approach that starts with specific observation and states a general topic/statement.
Or
deductive starts with theory which is supported by observation/pattern.
inductive starts with observation/pattern which then arrive at theory.

Sir inductive research is from particular to general.i.e. first we observe, follow a pattern, then form a hypothesis and then a theory
Deductive is from general to particular
