Bajwa Sahab ,. a Jatt family in Meerut district claims that one of their forefathers was army commander of Harsh Vardhan.. They are still called Tikait Sardar since Harsh Vardhan put up a Tikka on the forehead of their forefather.

Respected Baba ji, you have mentioned during your observations that Prithviraj Chauhan was a king of Delhi whereas the fact is he was the king of Ajmer only. The Tomaras were the rulers of Delhi from 736 CE to 1192 when Mohd Gauri captured Delhi. Prithviraj Raso, a book written sometimes around 1525 has propagated a false story about Prithviraj which has been now rejected by serious historians. I recommend the name of a book Dilli Ke Tomar written by Dr Harihar Nivas Dwivedi in 1973. This book is available on Google in PDF form and is in Hindi language. I request you to kindly read this book. Regards and thanks for sharing important information about the Jats.
