Destinies have finally collided in a way I was never expecting. Origins have been revealed and motivations have come to life, and now we are just left wondering what will happen next and why all of this occurred. In my first video on the season two finale of Tangled The Series I’m going to be explaining Cassandra’s betrayal so we can begin to understand why she unleashed the moonstone.

So why did Cassandra turn against Rapunzel and bind with the moonstone? I believe in the door from the hideout of Tromus, Cassandra was communicated to about her descending from a follower of Zhan Tiri and I think the voices that whispered to her pulled at the strain that was being experienced in Cassandra and Rapunzel’s relationship. They tore Cassandra away from Rapunzel and corrupted who she desired to be, and I think by doing that Cassandra became a follower of Zhan Tiri herself. I believe, for these reasons, Cassandra took the moonstone and unleashed its power and betrayed Rapunzel.

I want to know what happens next and WHY Cass took the Moonstone!! I heard that the one of episode of Season 3 will be called “Cassandra’s Revenge” perhaps we’ll dive deeper into why she betrayed Rapunzel and why she took the moonstone.😭😱

What if Cassandra and varian are related.
His mom has never been confirmed as dead or alive. Also, there may be more than one moon power. Think about it like this. There are 4 phases of the moon. 4 diffrent people who can control it. Once Cassandra released it, varian could gain his own powers too.

People on Reddit have a couple of theories as well.
1. People said it's possible Cass is possessed by Gothel's spirit. Given that at the end she said "you should be careful who you trust." kInd of alludes to it.
2. Some said the burn she suffered at the tree could be corrupting the rest of her, including her mind like an infection or cancer.
3. There is the possibility she could be trying to protect Rapunzel. Maybe the moonstone would have corrupted her. Still that sinister look and line at the end says otherwise.
I agree with 3. Ultimate powers have a tendency to corrupt the mind of the user. So Cassandra sacrificed her sanity so rapunzel could keep hers
I kind of think three would be a really cool way for it to turn out. Maybe the moonstone corrupted her but she knew it would cut Rapunzel as well and she didn't want that to happen to her friend.

Ive been thinking it’s a combination between 2 and 3;
My original idea was that this wasn’t the real Cassandra, and that something went down in the House of yesterday’s tomorrow and there be another clone. I’ve noticed that Cass isn’t hugging Raps anymore, even after the incendent at the tree and while they were inside the shell house, Rapunzel and Cassandra would hug each other. But since they left, since Cass stumbled out of the remaining door (which had to mean SOMETHING) Cassandra’s physicality changed. She stopped offering affection to Rapunzel and wasn’t too keen on reviving it. It’s understandable if her character was still upset about slowly decaying away....
The idea being (or being related to) Mother Gothel seems a little too out of the hat. I wonder if, when she was inside of the House of Yesterday’s Tomorrow she was shown that she would eventually decay away and she was corrupted into thinking that she needed to be with Rapunzel to protect her no matter what - so the moon stone would give her impenetrable armor.
Class’s dreams were simple, to make her adopted father proud and join the royal guard. They can use the harsh reality of “Not everyone is able to achieve tenor dreams”, but I wonder if what ever that door opened too took her dreams too literally. Cass wants to be recognized as a fighter, she always has. We’ve seen in season one where she’s competing in the warriors games and again in Waiting in the Wings.
What if the idea of being SO GOOD at her her dream, that she Turned Bad .... and is now okay with it
Honestly at that point when Cassandra says "You have to be careful on who you trust" Really sounded like something mother gothel said.

Cassandra probably always felt like she was second banana to Rapunzel. She always had to fight for respect and recognition of her accomplishments. Rapunzel can just be her endearing self, do a little song, and everybody loves her. Also the fact she's got her tragic princess back story. Plus. Eugene. So, Rapunzel is literally the girl that has everything. Cassandra taking and becoming the moon drop is probably her way to finally one up Rapunzel. I also hope that Rapunzel takes this time to realize how much she's taking her friend for granted and that it's kind of her problem that things ended up this way.

How do you think Rapunzel and Cassandra's lives would be different if they were raised together by Gothel in the tower?
What I find really interesting are the similarities between the two twist villains of this series. Varian and Cassandra have so many similarities.
1) When it comes to hair (the biggest source of power within Rapunzel) they are both opposite of Rapunzel. Her hair is bright and golden while theirs is dark and black (with the same sort of white highlights).
2) Both have gone on a journey with Rapunzel, pretending to help her the entire time, only to betray her.
3) Just after Rapunzel had found the object, both snatch it before she does and takes it for themselves (Varian with the sun drop flower and Cassandra with the moonstone)
4) Both have a thing with “this is my destiny”
5) After spending some time alone in which something happens to them, they decide to turn on Rapunzel (Varian with loosing his father, Cassandra with being inside the door)
6) (If Cassandra is Gothel’s daughter) Both are descendants of People who knew about and were close to the moonstone
7) Both sung a song of longing (Varian singing about longing to make his father proud and Cassandra singing about her longing for glory)
8) Another thing about their hair is that Varian had a blue streak in his hair, something that seems like he had it since birth. What colour does Cassandra’s hair turn into when she obtains the moon stone? Blue. It’s like how when Rapunzel has her sun drop hair it is blonde instead of brown. And when her hair is in action, it glows a brighter yellow. Cassandra’s hair was in action after she obtained the moon stone as it was glowing. But what would it look like if it were not? The colour of Varian’s blue streak.
9) Both of them wanted to obtain the power of the object that they stole from Rapunzel.
10) Both of them gave a message to Rapunzel of “be careful who you trust” as in the end the biggest thing they broke was her trust in them.
I don’t think it’s just me thinking this when I say that I think Varian and Cassandra are connected. It can’t be a coincidence they they are this similar and they both betrayed her. This is something that the writers would have to plan since the beginning and with all these similarities it just goes to show Cassandra and Varian MUST be connected in some way! And for reason 11.......... they were both my favourite characters...

Tess B. Lichtman I am sorry but whatever Rapunzel did to them pales in comparison to what THEY did to her.
Tess B. Lichtman I am not stating that Rapunzel isn't at fault; she is in a way partially. That is the case with her and Varian, at least. With Cass however, I fail to see any real emotional damage done to her by Rapunzel. The damage done to Cass's hand was an accident. While I do recognize that Rapunzel should have listened to her friend and was being very reckless at the time ( I also can understand why Cass could feel bitter about the situation but Rapunzel DID try to make amends or at the very least, TALK about what happened, but Cass brushed her off). I can say this though: while Rapunzel never meant to harm Cass and even tried more than once to amend the situation with her, Cassandra repeatedly pushed her away and intentionally stabbed Rapunzel and Eugine in the back. To me, because of the malicious intent there on Cassandra's part that is lacking in Rapunzel's own intent, that makes Cass's crimes worse.
Tess B. Lichtman I agree with mostly everything you said. Your right. Regardless of how you view the situation in season one, the king, Rapunzel, and Varian all have a role of responsibility to play in that situation. The king for disregarding the situation with the rocks and not taking it more seriously, Rapunzel for not being able to keep her promises, and Virian for being too reckless with his inventions in order to stop the development of the rocks.
With Cass, although I consider her to be one of my favorite characters, I get what you mean. Though I must say she isn't the only one who is capable of selfish intent. Rapunzel, for instance, in that one episode tried to force a entire town of another kingdom that wasn't even hers to try and adopt her own kingdom's customs and traditions.

I am lowkey frustrated because i have lost so many favorite characters to writing in the past.
I think you're definitely right, but ALSO that they played at Cassandra's longing for greatness. Throughout the entire series, Cassandra has been trying to prove her worth (likely related to her not knowing who she was as an orphan). This desire was the entire theme of her song "Waiting in the Wings", because throughout the entire series she's felt as if any chances for "glory" have been denied or someone else got the spotlight (almost always Rapunzel). When that door revealed to her her connection to Gothel, they probably twisted her desires to something like "this is the glory you're destined for, that you've always searched for! To acquire the power of the Moonstone and achieve greatness!"

You really think someone like Cassandra would buy that? Idk. I mean she never, ever really cared about who her birth parents. She had no established relationship with them either, so i don't really get why she would realistically care about what have to say. Especially when looking at the gravity of the idea. It undermines much if the ordeals they had to suffer through to get to the dark Kingdom, and forces her to betray her best friend. Cassandra has incredibly strong morals too. People need to realize she's not going to go this far just for something as, frankly, irrelevant and suspect as THAT.

Cassandra is the true daughter of Gothel. Abandoned for the Sun Drop and forced to live in harsh times.
She eventually was adopted by the Captain of the Guard, and lived life well until Rapunzel came back into her life.
Either she knew of her beforehand or the door revealed everything to her.
If the former, it would make sense about her reservation, revealing the black rocks and starting this whole incursion.
Maybe she is trying to get her mother back?
Maybe she is promised by Zhan Tiri to get Mother Gothel back? Her true mother, in return for the Sun Drop.

@@dzaky1638 It was a pretty lucky, to be honest. I always thought Cassandra looked like Gothel, but was too different personality wise to be her. When I realized they were going to parallel her with Rapunzel with the moonstone, I think the idea popped up about whether she was her daughter and wanted revenge for being abandoned.

Well, we don't really have any hard proof of what Cass saw behind the magic door, so this is only a guess, but I think you're on to something when you say it looks like the forest Rapunzel grew up in.
What if it showed her that real mother was in fact Gothel. Gothel abandoned her in favor of Rapunzel.
From her point of view, Rapunzel took Cass' spot as Gothel's daughter. She has heard from Rapunzel that Gothel wasn't exactly the best mother, but it can't have all been bad. Rapunzel has said she still loved her.
Maybe Cass was shown some of the good moments - moments that (in Cass' mind) was rightfully hers.
Then Gothel dies and Rapunzel gets a new family that loves her. Cass never got a new mother, but for Rapunzel, everything seems to always work out, doesn't it? Varian felt resentment towards her for that, maybe Cass has begun to do the same?
Oh, and we can't forget that Raps also got the top position of the kingdom as well - she is a princess, to be queen.
Cass has worked her whole life to get a respected position, while it's simply given to Raps.
And when Raps gets there, Cass has to be her lady in waiting - putting her chase for her chosen career on hold.
Then, when Cass finally gets the chance to prove herself in the arena, who shows up and steals her spotlight? Rapunzel.
And of course, Raps also gets this exciting magical destiny. And again, Cass puts everything on hold for Rapunzel to shine.
And even then Raps ignores her advice and destroys her hand and Cass - another blow, another setback.
See a pattern?
Oh wait, Eugene is actually a royal too? Really? That must have been fun for Cass to find out. Seems like everyone but her finds their amazing destiny and reunites with their family. But not Cass. Rapunzel made sure of that, didn't she?
Actually, Cass' song sums it up pretty well:
"There's always someone else who sings" and that someone, who keeps her from doing something great, is Rapunzel.
Or at least that's what might have been festering in her thoughts. From her point of view, would it be so bad for her to take something from Rapunzel for a change? Maybe then she can finally step into the light.
Now, this is next part is a tad more speculatory, but she also sings that she knows she was meant for glory.
Did Gothel create her for some purpose? Does she have the ability to wield the Moonstone when nobody before her has been able to do the same?
Anyway, that was one long trip into what might be Cass' perspective on things.

To be honest the only reason I believe Cass wasn't in Rapunzel's wedding is because the wedding was aired before the series so I just thought that Cassandra wasn't in Tangled so why would they add a character or animate a new one and when the series came they just add a supporting character so Rapunzel can have a girl BFF
it's all canon and connected. The very first episode of the show referenced Tangled Ever After and let the audience know that this entire show is basically telling what transpired before the wedding.
I heard , Cassandra might have been turned into New Captain of the Guards, so even despite Rapunzel wedding - she still have her duties, and she probably was there, but the animators just didn’t draw her there.
Did you guys forget that she never got married to Eugene!? Why else would he propose to her at the very beginning of the show; maybe because Rapunzel was never married to him in the first place!

I'll tell you what I foresee. Cass is gonna make a deal with Varian: Join my side by doing this, that, and the other, and I'll use my new powers to free Quirin. BUT, she doesn't hold up her end of the bargain. And he gets so mad at her, he joins Rapunzel's side again.
If you listen closely you notice the way she spoke sounded just as Mother Gothal did. And I think that could be her voice with Cassandra's. So what if she is also the rebirth of Gothal? I mean magic can do a lot of stuff and rebirth is one of the big ones especially when you want revenge. So what if that door actually brought her memories as Mother Gothal back?
I doubt it's rebirth, unless her soul can time travel. Cassandra is only four years older than Rapunzel and she was raised by the captain of the guards probably before Rapunzel was ever taken. How can Gothel's soul be reborn in Cassandra?

@@ThePrincessCH there are actual spells where the soul can take over someone else's body and out the original owner's soul. Which can only be use by dark magic it's like a demon in away but a witches soul instead. So at first it could of been cas but gothal soul could of been in her waiting to become stronger and take over cas body giving her a new life aka rebirth. Also remember in Rapunzel's nightmare it was Gothal using the magic not Cas. @@DLxxx Can't really tell why. It's mostly just gut feeling. Right when she appeared on screen, I got a "hmmm" feeling. I didn't think she would be a villain but I thought she would be trouble at some point.
That got confirmed that with the Challenge of the Brave episode where she was too selfish of her spot and getting the trophy. (I also empathized with her but she pushed herself too far)
It's not because I thought she's Gothel's daughter either (I'm fine if she's not). There's just something about her that struck me.... unusual. No, it's not her hair either. She just has a big "DON'T TRUST" vibe... even though I still love her character XD

I actually screamed and cried when this happened!! I trusted Cass with all my heart and thought she was an amazing strong warrior and a great character! I'm praying she wasn't planning on betraying Raps since the beginning of the series. And I'm praying that what happened behind the door was just a corruption spell and like what happens when you wear a Horcrux for too long, it will bring out your dark thoughts and make them ten times worse, even lashing out at your friends. I love Cass too much for her to be just a horrible villain.
Corona lied her about her origins, King Frederick surely know who are her parents, surely some defeated Corona's enemies. You're not alone, we'll support our Cass' until the end of her Tangled journey, and this too much cannonized funny wedding.
Cassandra is not a bad person. She is someone who is upset and doesn't want to be in anyone's shadow anymore. When you pay attention to Rapunzel's actions with Cassandra you can see that she has always been on step ahead of her. Doing things that Cassandra loved to do but did it better. She didn't have an motive to go against Rapunzel even if she always put her in her shadow. But learning that Rapunzel was the reason that her mother left her. Pushed her over the edge and now she is mad and wants something Rapunzel wants. She wanted to finally win.

Interesting theory
I think because Cassandra was trying to play the role of the protector for her friends but no one really listened to her warnings that kinda stuck with her so when she went through that weird door maybe that just enhanced those feelings of frustration and anger. She is written up as the good guy, guardian etc but let's be real here people (even TV cartoons) have good and bad in them. Cassandra started out good but slowly as you mentioned in the past videos her friends didn't take her seriously to her warnings or advice from the heart. So that could be the trigger and then the more growing strained relationship with Rapunzel just increased that feeling of anger. But I don't know for sure this is just a theory of mine from what you're saying and explaining throughout the videos about the TV show etc. However, perhaps Cassandra still had some good in her until the very end, she could have chosen to do the right thing and move on but maybe her anger and disappointment in her friends and everything from this journey made her decide to betray our heroes?????

After the bettrayal, I was thinking about the episode "Challenge of the Brave" when she show clear frustration about the privilege life of Rapunzel in contrast of her entire life of proving herself. Maybe that's why she finally bettray her, she was fed up of Rapunzel get this great destiny and power without doing anything where she work all her life to get respected as a great figure of strenght and courage.
She just make good work to hide it to her friends, I'm sure we gonna get an episode where we gonna show all the nice moments she got with rapunzel who will show that it was'nt really happy for her.
I just want to throw this out there, something I've noticed throughout the series is how possessive Cassandra tends to get of Rapunzel. Yeah It's her job as her guard and her friend to keep her princess safe and happy but sometimes it goes beyond that to the point that she can act hyper aggressive/suspicious towards anyone who gets to close to the princess. I'm not saying she's not right to be that way but the producers made sure to hammer in that Cassandra does anything for Rapunzel. It could be possible that what the visions behind the door instilled was that Rapunzel's power would always be coveted and as she gained more power she'd be hunted, hence why we saw the forest Rapunzel was raised in. Cassandra might have been shown that this was a cycle and that danger follows the princess path.
Cass has bee jokingly displayed as the villain before and I don't want to believe this was all done with evil intentions as I'd rather believe that she'd do this to Protect Rapunzel in her own way. One of her character traits is supposed to be her honor and loyalty so it makes no sense unless you think about it from the point of view of a guard who watches her charge almost kill herself in almost every adventure (and Raps has faced a lot of scenarios where she or someone else could have died), never depends on or consults her in times of great danger (the turning point had to have been in the tree), and is going to be sought after for as long as she holds the sunflowers power (not to mention was kidnapped because of this power from birth). At some point that guard is going to take things into their own hands. Cass is always trying to prove that she's strong enough to be relied on and I honestly hope this isn't any different.
Called it, Ever since the first few episodes for this show. I knew that one day Cassandra will betray Rapunzel, she always look like a villain or a anti-villain.
Cassandra betrayed Rapunzel because the group stopped trusting her judgment, she got hurt by the dark incantation Rapunzel used, and she was always on the sidelines with her friends having destinies to fulfill. Cass began to feel left out, not taken seriously as a warrior, and she swore to never get hurt again after the tree, symbolized when she put on the armor. By merging with the Moonstone, Cass now has the chance to be center stage, the black rocks guard her body, and she has the chance to be taken seriously by eveyone around her. But I agree, I don't think she planned to steal the stone until after she came through the door in the House of Yesterday's Tomorrow. As of this point we don't know what she saw in the House, but it must have been something big.

The writers wrote a beginning and an ending without a character they decided to introduce in the middle. Which means they also have to introduce a reason why that character doesn't make it to the end. The reason Cass wasn't in Ever After might be because she wasn't conceptualised yet however that doesn't change the fact that they have to justify why she wasn't in Ever After in the show's internal logic. That probably means things don't exactly end well for her.

Yeah I love looking for foreshadowing or reasons behind decisions in tv or movies, but sometimes the bleaker truth is that something from outside is the answer, not some deep plot reason. Tangled Ever After was developed as the short preceding Frozen, from 2013. The show first aired in 2017. The less fun but more accurate answer is that Cass hadn’t been developed and thus didn’t exist yet, she couldn’t have been there.

Perhaps Cass was shown how the stone also destroys the one who uses it. She decided that her destiny was to protect Raps. Rapunzel's adventure technically is not over. Cass may have taken the stome to keep it from hurting Rapunzel. She came to the realization that it will hurt someone else when it was done with her, so she in a way forced it to fuse with her so that it would destroy itself along with her. But the stone's darkness could have also destroyed her mind upon fusing.

I actually kinda hope it will be it. Your theory it's dramatic, and make Cassandra look like a truly loyal friend, who (in my opinion) she always was. I would be really disappoint if the creators will be like "screw it" and make here a villain just because "why not?".
Here are a couple of observations I realized after rewatching season 1. To become apart of the royal guard all a person has to do is go through training and pass a test. Cassandra could’ve easily went through the training classes and passed the test but her father never let her. Instead he would give Cassandra some assignment every now and then to prove that she can become apart of the royal guard. Which is dumb because obviously Cass has already proven herself to be a great warrior. Better than any of the royal guards. The captain made it a lot harder for her to join just cause he’s one of those “overprotective dads”. So that’s where I think the captain wronged Cassandra by intentionally acting as a barrier to her dream. He did redeem himself by letting Cassandra lead the assault against varian.
I think at that point, after defeating varian, Cassandra would’ve became apart of the royal guard, but she dropped everything to help Rapunzel with her destiny. (Cass mentions this in the episode where her and Rapunzel turns into Birds). But anyways I think the two major reasons why the captain is partly to blame is because of his hinderance to Cass achieving her dream and lying to her about the truth about her mother. In the Challenge of the Brave, we see that many of the people of corona saw Cassandra as nothing more than as lady in waiting. That plays a part in her frustrations as well. Then the condescending and careless treatment from Rapunzel since season 1 is what plays a part. We see Rapunzel act this way towards her several times in season 1, but it doesn’t really start to show until season 2.
Cassandra was on the road to forgiving Rapunzel after Rapunzel burned her hand, but Cassandra finding out that her mom is gothel is what put her over the edge and led her to her breaking point. All the feelings of anger hurt and abandonment came flooding in at that moment and Cassandra was in a state of mind to where she could easily be manipulated. Although going down this path was dark, it led Cassandra to a point to her life where she can finally find peace with her past and discover her destiny. That’s how life is most of the time. Let’s be honest if Rapunzel took the moonstone and fused it with the sunstone, she would’ve died. So it was a good thing Cass took the stone. This is why I’m such a huge fan of Cass because she’s so relatable. I really hope they make a spin off for Cassandra because she has an amazing character arc that I feel needs to be finished. Cass is like Zuko in my opinion.

Cassandra is my favorite character in Tangled the series I hope she will be redeemed or was replaced by evil version of herself or was possessed or so under control spelled or something. I hope we find out in Season 3 what happened to Cassandra when she enter that door at the House of Yesterday tomorrow. I love Rapunzel and Cassandra for being friend it just hurt me what happened to Cass. Hope they figure out to help Cass out of it and be good again.

I know the series is over..... but Cass wasn't truly evil. She was broken and was manipulated. Think about it. Rapunzel is somebody we can all envy. Everything just.... goes right for her and she doesn't even try. Meanwhile, Cassie had to bleed and sweat for people to respect her and she only gets the breadcrumbs of what rapunzel doesn't finish. So yes, it was safe to say that Cassandra's act of betrayal was done because of envy.

I thought that Gothel looked like she was a follower of Zhan Tiri too, and that was how she knew about the Healing Incantation and the flower- from the Great Tree. Like Adira, she too could have been looking for the Sun Drop, but instead to keep it away from the Moonstone and use it for her own purposes.
I didn’t watch the whole episodes cause I’m too busy but I am following the story and after I finish my last exams I will watch it all from the start.
But Gosh! This is really going deeper than I thought! I love how they continue the movie with bigger and more complex stories , and they match them amazingly!

I've felt weird about Cassandra ever since The Challenge of the Brave and Great Expotations. It seemed like she was more concerned about receiving glory and proving herself than being loyal to her friends--it was like they didn't even matter to her. Sure, she KIND OF made it right in the end in those instances (and that, in itself, is sketchy to me). But she kept craving power. Glory. Attention or recognition. She was super jealous of Rapunzel, and even though she tried to hide it...
I dunno, I think Varian has a more plausible cause than she does. Her motivation is power and greed. His was from love, and what he thought was injustice.

I love the fact that in Tangled the movie, there's a line where Mother Gothel says "you want me to be the bad guy? Fine now I'm the bad guy" to Rapunzel and in Tangled the Series S3 E18 Cassandra says the exact same thing to Rapunzel. It's the little throwbacks that make this show that much better.

The only reason has to be either she's been brainwashed which is cliche or that the truth of her parents, Mother, possibly being Gothel, and what happened to her in the end may actually be watch happened.
Perhaps there is another reason that Gothel used the sun dropped. She remained young for years and knew how to travel in the shadows and how long it took to get there. Remember in the movie when Rapunzel asks for a special paint Gothel knew just how long it would take. Now unless she went there often enough to know that it means that at some point Gothel met a man, either loved him or tricked him, had Cass, but when the sun drop was gone and Gothel aged her husband left her or her trick on him ended. She may have gone to baby Rapunzel to steal her hair to get back what she lost but in the end took Rapunzel. Having such great power to herself she abandoned Cassandra. Its possible that the truth could be sad or it's corrupted to influence Cass, but we just have to wait.

Cass is in her twenties- I believe she is the same age as Eugene, which would mean the timeline doesn't exactly add up.

After watching this theory I listened to Ready as I'll ever be, and somehow the part at the end of the song that Cass sang "Prove they can trust me" have a new meaning for me.

It recently occurred to me recently that maybe the real Cassandra never left the house of yesterday's tomorrow and the one that betrayed her was a mirror person that is why she never took off the armor because she doesn't have the injury.
You and I almost had the same theory, Isaac. In my opinion, I believe that Zanteri is actually in possession of Cassandra, and is now inhabiting her body. So when the time came, Zanteri reached out and took the moonstone. And your theory about Cass being Gothel's mother just might be spot on. Hey, who would've known that King Edwin of the Dark Kingdom is actually Eugene's father? I hope that season 3 of this series is either already out, or soon to be released this summer, this is very hot!

Cass and eugene have always had parallels. Especially considering the episode "Rapunzel: day one" which was literally the movie scenes but with cass instead of eugene. But yeah. However, from a different perspective. What if eugene being the dark prince wasnt meant as a plot twist, but as foreshadowing that cass is gothel's daughter because of the aforementioned parallelism

When king Edmund first showed up in Beyond Corona's Walls I swore he looked a lot like Eugene, so I think it was planned all along and I think that it's going to be up to Eugene and Rapunzel to stop Cassandra.

I feel bad for varrian and cassandra because in a way their just products of their situations. Also they are kind of products of rapunzels messed up life. If your theory is true then she might be jealous that mother gothel "loved" rapunzel more.

Especially after spending 18 years ruthlessly exploited for related magic whose origins you didn’t know.
These mistakes don’t make me hate Rapunzel. The show’s refusal to even acknowledge that these constitute major flaws just make her really, really hard to stomach now.
