Why would you spray the flames rather than the base of the fire. This is a disgrace, what if the car was mangled and the driver could not get out. Please train the “Firefighters” on technical fire fighting. You deserve the condemnation you are getting. If this is what you have, get a real fire company there.
It seems that every single track across the country has a bunch of rejects that have no idea what they're doing or they are so confused or slow it's not worth having them there. It's like all the retarded kids want to be a fire fighter and they let them become just that
people saying fire fighters suck well they dident have foam extinguishes for fuel fires for one. but a fire that has a protected fuel source will burn until fuel exhausted
Yes they did!!! Watch again. You can clearly see the foam running down the side panels of the car.😆 And YES! THEY DO SUCK. These tracks get the rejects that didn't pass the test. Cheap labor LMAO 😂
Are they spraying that fire with gasoline? The more they spray the bigger the flames got. The one fire crewman has a tiny little one hand fire extinguisher.
That fire crew was terrible the driver was lucky he was able to get out on his own otherwise I'm afraid he would have been lost almost certainly I sure hope it's goten a hell of a lot beter than that now
Wow, a whole bunch of untrained fire crew. They needed to be hitting that from the bottom, not spray the top. Hope the track brings in some experts to train them properly.
They have fire suppression systems now and almost everyone uses them. Driver was already gone before the fire and the fire crew don't know nothing about them.
It’s horrifying to think if that fire started 10 seconds earlier
how long does it take to pull the pin to activate the extinguisher? thank god the driver wasn't inside. crazy stuff.
Wow good to see that the safety crews were quick to jump on that fire 😑
After seeing that fire i would have loaded up and NEVER came back to that track.
That response to the fire was BS! What the HELL!
God was with that young man. Glad he got out before the car went up. It was scary to watch.
If I was a race car driver after watching this 5 Alarm DUMPSTER FIRE I wouldn’t race at this track

Wtf..? Regulations on fire prevention needs to be tightened
No FUCKING racing body uses full fire trucks dumbass not F1 INDY cars NASCAR World Rally Endurance racing.
Glad the fire crew brought their squeeze bottles
Does that one guy have a garden hose?
Can I use this for a completion I will give credit
The 32th string fire crew always sprays a fire from top to bottom. Would never race at this track what a joke
Hang on folks we have a flare up lol
He was talking about his ass not the fire. Stop being so mean
Very lucky.. Very Very lucky
This is why you get the best safety equipment you can.
And that folks is why your supposed to have a tier truck on seen
Lot of money destroyed in just a couple minutes smh that sucks
Nice Job By Fire Crew
We have a flare up !
If anyone would have taken 10 seconds longer in doing their job, this could have ended tragically.
three stooges fire department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crazy stuff.
Sad to say that this type of response is typical of most tracks. Promoters are too cheap to invest in safety and rescue.
Christian Kehl Would you please give my racing channel a Subscribe I have plenty of videos for you to enjoy
Yes you are correct. Greed is going to take someones life one day
Safety at this track is way beyond sub par
had to smell fuel before fire.
Its could the fuel line popped
First time to see this on youtube I tell ya'll the fire crew sucks they should be the first ones there not the ambulance.
Great that the driver got out of the car before it went up in flames.
morphman21 Fire bad. You think this is bad? Watch 1 min 45 sec of my home track. th-cam.com/video/7DOo6oZI7JY/w-d-xo.html
That fire crew was terrible the driver was lucky he was able to get out on his own otherwise I'm afraid he would have been lost almost certainly I sure hope it's goten a hell of a lot beter than that now
I was helping and it just kept going
get the water truck out there flood the leaking fuel.
Terek White that wont work. The fuel will burn on top of the water. You need foam to snuff it out.
Wow
Wow, a whole bunch of untrained fire crew. They needed to be hitting that from the bottom, not spray the top. Hope the track brings in some experts to train them properly.
Every track has the rejects that didn't make the fire squad so this is what you're left with.
@@sidebite2533 i know firefighting is serious at tracks, but that one made me giggle
That is scarl
Whether your track rules require one or not, You need to put a fire bottle in your race car.
They have fire suppression systems now and almost everyone uses them. Driver was already gone before the fire and the fire crew don't know nothing about them.
@@sidebite2533 hardly anyone uses them in nj. Obviously I saw the driver getting out. You're saying the GV safety crew aren't completely trained ?
Clearly this is not a DIRT sanctioned race... Between the flapper valves, atl fuel cells and shutoffs that fire would have never got that bad
First and how God
Lousy job by fire guys. Should have had extinguishers aimed at the car before the fire brike out. It's called prevention.
need to spray electric motor cleaner on that fire
These fireman rescue are completely useless. They need foam on fires like that not regular extinguishers. Oh well the guys car is toasted.
Grandview has a terrible fire crew
