@@hugmuffinzz6559Agreed. I use GPS to allow me to rest my hands, kick back, and chill. Plus I’m way too anal so watching my equipment follow a perfect line is music to my soul. Thanks for the video. I had seen the options to adjust the lines but never played with them. Would have probably made harvesting the carrots a lot easier. 🥴
At 12.2 meters, it divides the ground differently than at the 10 meter pick-up, because it is 2.2 meters shorter, which is why it needs to be set 2.2 meters larger, although you did not do the previous one by 10 meters, it works perfectly well, Courseplay also needs to be switched for different devices.
Been doing this all the time, so it looks like I am not using it wrong then 🤷🏻♂️ I made some MASSIVE fields at New Frontier and it works perfect with GPS. Just a heads up when you are making new fields, make sure to have the edges as straight as possible. At first the GPS could not find the field, but that was just because I had some uneven edges.
Steering assist is handy but I miss the standard hire worker feature. When I quit the game and go back into it I just can’t hit hire worker and they carry on. They go off and much about and start somewhere else. So frustrating
@@stachutoziomal3655this is a good thing not a bad thing means u haven’t got to worry about messing about hiring workers every time ya turn ya game on, if ya don’t like it cancel ya workers before restarting ya game
When I have ai working a field that they have trouble with where they miss little spots here and there in the corners I will get in that menu and reduce the size of the Implement a little bit,as an example if you're using a combined header that's 10 m I will adjust it to say 9.5 and it will make them Miss fewer crops. they'll go a little bit slower because they will overlap slightly but in my opinion it's better to have them be a little slower and actually get the job right so I can focus on other things without worrying about them😂😂
That's nice !!! I have Farming 22 and there isn't this option... And since i saw that 25 had that i wanted to try that. Thanks for the tips cause i need this when i will start Farming 25
The MacDon threshes the field and leaves a swath that contains both the grain and straw. You drive over it with the combine using a pickup head and it than separates the grain from the straw and spits the straw back out. The reason for doing it this way is because you gain a 25% yield bonus from using the MacDon as opposed to just using the combine with a regular header.
Well it looks like you are doing it wrong to start with. The steering assist does not always detect the implement width as working width. It happens frequently that the working width that gets selected is narrower than the implement width (happened mostly with the vegetable harvesters, but I have not checked all implements). Safest way is to check it out in the machine beforehand. In your case luckily, the McDon really sets 12.2m as working width, so it works.
dude that's has nothing to do with your gps this is just that combine uses 10 meter mowers its vanilla set for that combine if you put another mower on then yes you have to change it this is not a GPS fault you just falls complains to make a video
I thought this was how we'd all been doing it from the start
same
I was.
Great tip - however if you need GPS to follow really thick lines of straw then there's an optician waiting for you out there somewhere lol
Its not so much that you need it to follow the straw but that it does it for you once its set.

This is standard to do as most the working widths are wrong in game that I have noticed so I always change it to what it is in the store.

Well, you just jump into MacDon, check its width, and then set the same value on all other tools. It works even with a worker.

For me the ai continue working without me doing anything.
Switch it to start with the headlands
But workers doesnt stop working, if you exit your game and rejoin they will continue where they ended.
Just dont fire them

awesome video bro. why don't you do one on how to tell the time?

Ohh nice! I will try that out. Those rounded edges have always been kind of annoying to get AI to work properly.
Now imagine the things that will be possible with CoursePlay. Big Brain Time.
lol... this game needs course play because there is no Artificial Intelligence on it.
plus the players that believe that this game have AI.

Can't wait for it to come out.

Forgive me but why go over a swath with a combine like that? Does it act as a wind rower?

I thought this was just common sense. Set the working width to width of header used to harvest and then use same headlands setting.
How to get show lines on field???
Check your game settings. If they aren't showing up after you turn on GPS than the show lines option might be off.

Mac Don not McDon 😉
Oooh nice
i just dont like the GPS but thats just me
Isnt this already coming knowledge?
I think there is a subset of players(new and old) who have never used it outside of the very basic functionality. Hopefully this reaches them :)

I dont think you understood the point. This is so you can use a baler, pickup header, forage wagon etc and follow the exact path the combine took.
This is a pointless video, you can’t do it with the baler gps won’t work
It works fine with the baler. I just did it.
