    Gotta love how Aussie critters turn the normal expectations upside down. Mammals that lay eggs. Birds that think they're bears. Bears dropping out of trees. Curious friendly pythons. Deadly snakes that look like harmless ones I'd find here in the states. I bet they all have the same awesome accent in their heads.

      Australia has not bears, koalas are marsupials while bears are placentals

    OMG! I love your videos so much especially the lightning and animals! And....you obviously know all about the LOA!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful videos, I also love how calm you are no matter what. While I think some of the tornado hunters who "yell the obvious" are super funny sometimes, I much prefer your zen style. Happy Valentine's Day!!

    Brings back memories of Thailand. I can just imagine you slamming on your brakes, opening your door and jumping out, your car still in drive. Beautiful snakes, and country.

    Beautiful animals. I've lived with various snakes as pets for nearly 30 years and I just cannot comprehend why they have such a bad reputation and why a lot of people hate them so much. I personally find handling them very calming. Except that is for my baby Western Hognose who is permanently in a bad mood and flattens his head, hisses and head butts when I pick him up. But with regular handling he'll calm down and grow out of it. :)

    • @catpoke9557
      @catpoke9557 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, at least with hognoses, you know you won't get a bite! So even in this case, I think there's going to be some relaxation to be found.

    YOU sir...are a GENIUS. I discovered you via TH-cam...just researching...check-in out STORM CHASERS like to yourself, and Skip Talbot and a few others..I'm up here in Chicago...a musician by trade...I have always found your tornado footage to be absolutely remarkable...your cinematography, your insightful analysis, your kind regard for both Wildlife and Human life....the music soundtracks for your twister footage...but to find out that the music is YOURS...I mean, I assume that since you are a musician with a band, most if not all of your soundtrack music must be yours...I feel it in my bones...Pecos Hank uses his own original music for his Storm Chasing soundtracks...gotta be true...just gotta be true. Anyway sir, You are a TOTAL GENIUS...A RENAISSANCE MAN..A LEGEND. Hats off my brother...hats off. I'm going to try to get a hold of some of them awesome sounds if you have it available for purchase online...lots of love and support from Chicago, IL. Thanks for your matchless contributions bro. Keep on moving Pecos Hank...were rooting for ya man!!

    I loved it when you lay down on the ground in order to communicate with the snake at his own level. Can you slither like a snake? (That's harder than it looks.) I went to Australia a few years ago, but I was mostly in Melbourne, and the only kangaroos I saw were on TV. And my friends tricked me into eating some Vegemite ;-)

      I actually think the calmest might be the rubber boa. Super chill dudes, maybe even more so than these ones. To hold one of those, you don't even need to use Hank's 'sweet talking,' as far as I know. Super cute too. They're basically sausage shaped, very fat (they have rolls and everything,) and their scales are soft and rubbery. People like to use them to get over phobias!
