I have a by the way too, I bought it peloved and had some corner wear. I conditioned the bag the leather seemed to be quite thirsty. Conditioning [which adds good moisture} will help your bag from getting future damage and maybe even hide the water marks and corner wear Good luck it a nice bag I love mine.
Hi. I could be wrong about this, but AFAIK, Fendi's Cuoio Romano leather is semi-aniline dyed and is UNFINISHED. Meaning, it does not have a plasticky layer heat-pressed onto it, like Prada's Saffiano leather does, or Vuitton's Epi leather. Meaning, Cuoio Romano has a lovely buttery real-leather feel & smell, but its pores are open, it is not water proof, and is not indestructible. I guess it's built similarly to Vuitton's new leathers for Pharell's monogram Speedy P9s. it will need TLC and some product. i hope this helps.

I have the grey fendi by the way bag and ordered the tan color too. I love this bag but the corners are worn on mines too along with color transfer from my uniform when I wear it to work. I also don’t baby my bags so the corners are the first part of the bags that I saw wear and tear 😢 but it’s just such a versatile bag with shoulder and crossbody length straps. I love it. 💕

However i have been worrying that if it was already scuffed from the warehouse, how will it handle everyday use. And well you just proved it to me that i should not stay with this bag. So sad because its such a beautiful bag, however for 3k$ (i got a strap as well) i want it to last a bit longer than 6 months. Thanks for this amazing review!!!
Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that Claudia! Yes it’s an absolutely gorgeous bag but totally agree that you could spend your $3k elsewhere for a more durable one! For similar small hold all bags with a zip (big factor for me) that might be more durable try looking at the Loewe puzzle (I have one and it’s my prized possession), the Givenchy Antigona (I don’t have one but have heard great things!), or the Celine Boston bag (don’t have one but want one!!). hi! thank you for your video! I'm not sure if you got your water marks out yet from your bag but i heard vinegar takes out water marks. I would test it obviously on a discrete area and then immediately wipe it with a damp cloth and then dry it immediately with a dry cloth, then put leather conditioner on it. I haven't tried this but I heard vinegar works and since you are doing it on treated leather I wouldn't think it would cause a problem. I definitely wouldn't do it on vachetta tho!

The scuffing- I think it’s probably because the bag has very pointy corners . I have a new st Laurent shopping tote with corners like that- and scuffing is something I’ve been worrying about. The leather is so taut around the corners and becomes a lot more prone to scuffing. I think a good “leather professional” can fix the scuffing - maybe worth it for such an expensive bag.
Unfortunately I live in Stockholm, so I don’t have any advice on where to go. But here in Stockholm there is a place called ”Väskdoktorn” ( the bag doctor) where they restore and touch up all sorts of handbags- there simply has to be something similar in London( if that is where you live) I also think some cobblers are good att restoring leather products.

I'VE JUST WACHED UNBOXING OF THIS BAG. SEVERAL TIMES YOU SAID SOMETHING ABOUT EXCEPTIONS ON THIS BAG. MAYBE THE ORIGIN OF THE BAG IS PROBLEMATIC
