It costs about $20-40 to Los Angeles, but worth it due to the low cost of the tools & high value. Also, if you buy enough tools, it'll help offset the costs.

Just use a DCSD cable and MagicOs program and change or format the nand without opening the device...
Would you recommend having a few different "replacement nands" sitting around for writing to? incase something goes wonky because you cant read directly from the nand? Basical, have the working phone, and flash a new nand. when all is good, go to work and just pull original nand and slap the new on on?
Yes of course, since NAND failures are common on iPhones. So it's good to have some extra. They also recently adding a read function to the JC Software. But haven't messed with it too much.

Actually, they recently added a READ function. So you can try to read the NAND. Otherwise, you would just do a GSX report based on the IMEI to get the SN, WiFi & BT
Bro so I’m about to open up my repair shop for logic board repairs but I’m on a tight budget and I wanted to know will I be better of with an iRepair P10 or I’m a going to have to purchase the JC programmers and If i don’t purchase the JC will I be missing out anything ?
I would start off with the iRepair P10 as it's easier to do that vs removing NAND & programming it. But the JC Programmers are still needed in some cases where the P10 doesn't work. I have both, but i use P10 in 80% of cases

Bro I have a problem, I received an iPhone 7plus that came from another shop and it's missing it's Nand. The logic board is badly damaged and I wanted to board swap but how can I do that without extracting the data from the original Nand?
@@VCCBoardRepairs If I attempt swapping out the board without the original nand that came with the motherboard will it work? Cause I do know there is a need to unbind the wifi and all that but since the Nand is missing I can’t do that

No it cannot. This does not remove iCloud from iPhones, if that's what you're asking.
