It’s great to see the Twins score runs against a team with fantastic pitching. Although last night was a loss, it’s reassuring to know they were able to produce a strong offensive showing against Castillo. I think winning this series is paramount for the success of this team for the remainder of the season. The Mariners are an excellent team to assess and determine where the Twins arrange themselves amongst teams with playoff expectations. They were desperate to get the best of the Angels and CWS and win a series against Boston. Winning this series could solidify their confidence and ability to compete against the division winners across the league. They have remained relatively healthy and are anticipating the return of Lewis and bullpen pitchers in the coming weeks/months. If Lewis is able to start his season with the consistent production he showed last year, I think they become the favorites to win the AL Central. The starting pitchers other than Lopez and Ryan are all elevating their game and emerging as dependable players who are capable of dominating a games. Imagine if two of these pitchers were playing at the level of Lopez or Ryan and they could be a well balanced team with depth that can maintain a competitive outing if a critical player sustains a serious injury. I just hope that they don’t get bounced in the playoffs by the Yankees in typical fashion.

Unpopular opinion: the time has come to say goodbye to Buxton. It just doesn't matter anymore what he "can do"...what matters is that he's never on the field to "do it".
Unfortunately it's unlikely he will ever be healthy. His knees have failed him.
Jeffers, Castro, Larnach, and Kepler - they're stepping up and getting it done.
I would watch every single Twins game if I didn't have to buy 8 separate TV subscriptions to watch them. I keep up with Google scores and highlight videos LOLOL.

I see folks on here talking about the inability to watch the games. I'm in the same boat here in the MPLS area. What's odd to me is when Direct TV or some other carrier would stop carrying either Twins, Wolves, or Wild games, it would be like big media news for a couple weeks. In addition, Manfred was talking a big game over the past couple of years essentially saying we got this. I've seen exactly one hand written statement from MLB while this was on the News here for about 24 hours? Pretty lame.
Yeah Bally has been a fiasco for years. First Dish TV, then Hulu, Blue Peak, and now Comcast, and Midco. Too gun shy to sign a 2 year contract with Direct TV, just to see this current contract not get renewed.
The Mariners biggest problem are the pitchers.they allowed to many hits.
I'm sorry but these women announcers are annoying to listen to. Good for them to be doing the announcing but it's just not music to the ears.
