Love seeing Winston helping in the kitchen. I think it is very important that not just girls learn to cook but boys also. You have inspired me to make my own broth. Bless your sweet family.

I’m jealous of your onion peels!🤣 I need to dye a piece of fabric and I don’t have enough onion peels. I’m using turmeric and paprika so we’ll see how it turns out. Seeing the beautiful color of your broth is a reminder of the bright yellow dye added to store bought broth and bouillon
That is amazing to freeze the tomatoes first and then peel. Wow will for sure enjoy that next time no burned fingertips. Great tips for making the chicken broth. It looked delicious, nice deep dark color. You are an amazing young homemaker.
Hi Tam! Thank you for bringing us along for your pantry preparation, although I am not yet canning I appreciate your teachings & save them for future reference! ❤
I made that pizza sauce for the first time this year and it tastes so good! I have a few more bags of tomatoes in the freezer and I'm trying to figure out if I just want to make more juice or more sauce. I have chicken bones, beef bones and ham bones in my freezer that I need to cook and can up. I love having canned beans on my shelf.
I have all the bones in my freezer too. Save your veggie scraps, add the cooked bones to a crockpot pot overnight longer is better, put them in old cool whip like containers & freeze.Never buy any type of broth. Tomatoes I core and freeze to add in place of canned tomatoes. Tried canning once not for me. I try to use up everything to the best of my ability. Some things are just not for me. Best of everything to you😊.
Your chicken broth looked so beautiful and the best thing is that you know what’s in it……..it’s nutritious AND delicious! I always enjoy your restock videos. Oh, I never realized that tomatoes could be frozen whole like that! Your crockpot sure did the heavy lifting for your pizza sauce……😉
You’re right, time to restock, I’ve been working on mine too. Your pizza sauce looks amazing. I’m going to have to try Mrs wages, I’ve always made scratch sauce, but so many good things about Mrs Wages I do my broth & beans to the same way. After canning my garden produce, I have a freezer full of scraps. Your broth is so rich & beautiful
Putting more beans on my shelf is a goal for me in the next week or so. We love beans as well and I also love cumin and I am wondering if I could add a little bit of cumin to each jar. Have you ever tried it?I’m going to do the same with my pinto beans and possibly red beans too
Tamara I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOUR VIDEOS, but this was the BEST!!!!!!! You go girl!!! You have sooo inspired me!! That broth was drop dead GORGEOUS btw!!!! YUM!! 💞🙏🏼💞
Just catching up on your videos! The best tips ever! Curious to know if you have this canner on your Amazon front? I'm like you, I just have three at home so I can about the same amount. Also, how long do you cook them and did you add salt to your beans? Is there a playlist if your canning recipes? Sorry for all the questions, new to your channel. Thanks so much!!!
I’m not a canning tutorial channel, so I don’t give details just tell everyone to do their own research. I’m still “new” so I don’t feel comfortable. I google everything when it comes to timings and recipes, etc. In some areas it can be different depending on where you live. I do have the canner in my amazon store front I love it! I have two 💕 Happy Canning 😍
I received 2 lbs. of black beans recently. After you put your beans, salt, water into your jars, do you let them sit there till they cool down or do you water bath them for a period of time and then let them sit there and cool down?
You can rebel can them for 3 hours in a water bath. I’ve not done that personally. You can not vacuum seal foods that need to be processed in water or pressure canner. You only vacuum seal dried foods in jars.
Happy, happy, happy. Happy i m a winter baby and love it. I’m on a pantry stocking adventure. Cleaning out the freezer and canning all the meat. Everything from beef, ground beef, boneless chicken breasts, chicken cubes for soups and casseroles , shredded chicken. a lot of pork from spareribs, sausage, brats😅pork loin roast, shredded pork, pork chops even found a neat way to can bacon. I’ve made combo veggie mixes pulling up what’s left in the garden….. busy, busy. Vacuum pack ready to roll for dehydrated herbs and veggies. . fruits. Pulled the last of the potatoes.
I like to add a bit of vinegar to my stocks, as it helps bring out the collagen and stuff from the cartilage and bones.

The onion skins give the broth a nice color.
Tamera! I am so impressed! You are killing this homemaking thing!❤

Tamara
I am feeling the fall vibe too and made chicken soup too to use up food from my fridge and freezer. Your look amazing.
Hi Tamara. Love watching your restock videos.
We love the Mrs Wages pizza sauce. Not sure why this year was the first year I made it. Love these videos. So many great ideas & reminders.
I love your pantry restock videos! Do you get your canning recipes from a cookbook or website? Curious about the rebel canning 😊
I have a couple cookbooks, but mainly google, pinterest, tiktok and watching canning TH-cam videos.

Hey hey sweet friend! I just love these videos of yours so motivating ❤you look so pretty too!
If you ever buy a rotisserie chicken from Sam's club ...that makes the best and richest broth ever ...so good
I don't see the pizza sauce seasoning packet on your store. Can you link it?
It is. Under kitchen.
😊😊
Where do you find the recipes that you use in this video?
I didn’t use recipes.

Beans need to be pressure canned
I do not have a pressure canner or anything like it. Is there any other way or should I just vacuum seal until ready to use.@@SouthernWifeEverydayLife
You can rebel can them for 3 hours in a water bath. I’ve not done that personally. You can not vacuum seal foods that need to be processed in water or pressure canner. You only vacuum seal dried foods in jars.
@@SouthernWifeEverydayLife my black beans are package dry. They are not canned
Where did you get your food mill ? I'm definitely getting a canner like you have...lol
I bought my food mill at a local hardware store
@@dianeb9435 TY ;)
It was passed down from family
@@SouthernWifeEverydayLife Now that's a treasure !!
I'd probably cheat and make it with chicken bullion along with everything else in the pot
I’ve never soaked my beans
