I have been checking TH-cam about 20x a day since you said you were going to be doing a review on these palettes earlier last week!!! Thank you so much for doing a review on this brand!!!!! I would LOVEEEEE to see more videos with their other palettes! You are the only person I have been able to find on TH-cam to do a review on this brand in English thus far!

I usually don't like spraying shimmers because it melts it together, making it more metallic. I actually prefer a more piecy sparkly shimmer. ✨️
What do you use to adhere it to the eye as to not lose the sparkles?
@@Moriah58 glitter glue works really nice for me. Or just stickier eye primer
I totally get that but with my 44 year old eyelids if I don't spray them they'll look very textured. So to get a similar effect I'll spray the initial application then with my finger tap some in to get the sparkle without too much texture.
@@Moriah58 some shimmers I won't use any adhesive, depending on the formula. But I prefer to use my finger at first and then brushes to finish the detailing... I apply my eyes first* .. if the shimmer is really loose & dry then I will use a glitter glue. I have a bunch of different brands that I use. NYX seems to work well for most ppl. ♡
Yes!! Totally agree! If I notice I’m getting that crepey, chunky texture from a shadow, I take 1 drop of water on my finger and smooth where needed.
I’d rather have one of those palettes for $35 than one shade from CT…..wow! Those look spectacular!

Being Swedish & makeup crazy I have 3 of GlossGods all shimmer palettes. The one shown here ’Looking for Rainbows’. Great for summer and lighter looks. Also ’Gal on Mars’ & ’Gal on the Moon’ for fall/ winter.
The shimmers are SO GOOD! Creamy, eady to apply. Last all day. And best of all- they don’t crease at all on my ageing lids.
The Gal on the Moon palette is the one I want to get. I really wish there was a code to help with the shipping charges to the US.

Would you say that the ones in Gal on the Moon are more smooth metallics or more sparkly?
While I do enjoy some sparkly magic, I reaaaally need more smooth metallics in beautiful duochromes! I have several gorgeous sparkly ones from Glamshop, I wish they had smooth versions for their duochromes but alas...
& anyone, if you have recommendations of smooth duochromes (and multis, sure) in Europe, please :)

Oh yes, being Swedish I'm familiar with this brand. I own 3 nine Pan palettes, 2 all shimmer palettes, 4 loose pigments and their pigment base. Love it all! Planning on testing lip products and liquid blushes next.

I've been waiting for this video! There's not a lot of reviews of how GlossGods shadows perform on youtube so this was super helpful. I have my eye on that purple palette and the rainbow one, maybe it'll be a gift from me to me for my birthday. You probably have it already, but if not Viseart's "Etendu violette" has great purples that are not in your face. Plus purpely neutrals for blending. (Further info in case you don't have it yet: The mattes don't swatch well and the oils on the skin gives some shades hard pan, but they blend so well on the eyes.)

I collect them not only for the shadows but for packaging. I display a lot of them in my beauty room. Again thank you and the hard pan on them is definitely annoying lol

I have the Dancing In The Sky, Look For Rainbows and Gal On The Moon palettes, as well as a loose multichrome pigment called Raindrop. I absolutely love their shimmers. They swatch beautifully and really enhance my eye looks. I also love that they are based in the EU. I might have to buy these new palettes despite the fact that I'm currently on a low buy 🙈 That new neutrals palette is the most interesting neutral palette I've seen since the Brew palette from September Rose, so pretty!

I came back to say I just got my Gloss Gods palettes because of you 😋 and Im sooo excited to try them out. I got Dancing in the Sky and Gal on the Moon. I'd consider them quite affordable considering all those duo and multichromes and shipping wasnt too bad about $20 USD.

I'm a licensed US Customs Broker, and regarding shipping cosmetics to the US, they are unconditionally duty free, so no matter if they come from a country with whom we have no free trade agreement, the duty rate is 0%. Although, for products sold in the US, if there are duties, the price is added before, as part of the price of the good, not added after. We don't do an Ad Valorem payable by the end customer, that's all handled by the companies, it's all accounted for in the price listed to the consumer. What varies for us is sales tax, but when you buy online, that is calculated and added to the price before you submit your order as well.

Oh my gosh, a mix between Mixed Neutrals and Vintage Glam would be my dream. Vintage glam is more fun but I would have liked at least 2-3 neutrals in there, and I’m not super interested in the light matte pinks. Smoke and Mirrors also look gorgeous 😱 heelp

I bought the New Nude one. When I saw the swatches I fell in love! It is my perfect color story, the shimmers look amazing. You are right when you say we want neutral shifts, we also don’t want bland textures like what mainstream brands do. I am also from Europe. This brand seems perfect for me. Hopefully I love the formula, I’ll buy the other 3 palettes if I do ❤️
Edit: I’m on a low buy, but I’ll definitely splurge on a brand that caters to my preference (oddly hard to find special neutral shimmers, palettes even more so)

Have you thought about using a mirror to show the flip in shadows? I only ask since swatching & adjusting your lights multiple ways to film them obviously takes A LOT of time & effort (or they wouldn’t turn out beautifully), so being able to only use 1 light setting should free up at least an extra hour or two for pool time.. right 🤷🏼♀️😉! Love the purple lighting BTW

I ordered 2 palettes last week.I got vintage glam and looking for rainbows they were each $37 dollars and shipping was $19 dollars.I hope that helps someone out with the prices.Im sooo excited to get my hands on these. I thought of Angie when I ordered them.💜 Theres sooo much on their site that I want.Yes the shipping is expensive but $37 dollars for duochrome/multichrome shadows is a steal.So kept that in mind when the shipping price pops up.
