  • "In pursuing his ideal (aim of Yoga), the Sadhaka (student of Yoga) is trying to find that Ultimate Reality which is the basis and the cause of the whole Universe, manifest and unmanifest. This very fact that he is trying to unravel the greatest mystery of life should fill him with a sense of awe and reverence provided he is conscious of the nature of his high purpose and the tremendous nature of the Reality which he is approaching." ~ Sri I.K Taimni

In this world whatever is gained is gained only by self-effort; where failure is encountered, it is seen that there has been slackness in effort: th-cam.com/video/jMJrCQ7UF74/w-d-xo.html (wisdom of Sage Vasishta)
"Of course everybody, every book says, "Be quiet or still". But it is not easy. That is why all this effort is necessary." ~ Ramana Maharshi (Day by Day with Bhagavan, 11-1-46)

Why would king janaka after reaching the status of yogi decide to then 'chase' worldly paths? Perhaps the spiritual awakening did nothing for him, perhaps he never truly attained that guru status...

Bruh he never chased worldly paths and also when ved vyas taught suka he told to him that he already knew what he told to him and ved vyas suggested him to visit janaka so janaka taught suka after testing him and no he didn't chased worldly desires
