Exact same thing for me! I remember this voice way back then we used to be such hard little teenagers but this song would break us every time! I actually heard it on Pandora and had to come find it! This sweet lady's Anointed voice has been used to change and stir so many for The Lord!

I love the other versions like from Smitty, Rebecca St. James and Byron Cage. But I HAD to find out who wrote this anthem, and I'm glad I found the original by Marie...kinda makes you think what were they thinking while writing this, or what they were going through...so humble...
