On the rocks during summer, neat during winter. WT 101, Makers Mark, Woodford Reserve and Knob Creek are some favorites! I prefer Evan Williams as a mixer, cheaper than Jack plus the 1.75L is $15, makes a nice addition to a cookout or party for those that like mixing with coke.

I have to agree with Radar and say I enjoy my whiskey at room temp anywhere between 68 to 75 °F. But that's just me. So if you like it in the freezer, Go for it. It's all about how every individual likes it. Just don't keep it in the freezer too long or you'll end up with a whiskey popsicle. LOL !!! Or God forbid, a broken bottle.
I prefer "hotter" whiskeys (higher proofs) cold same with cheap stuff. if its a decent whiskey under 90 proof l like it room temperature with one ice cube. I agree drink it however you like!
+vahsharo1980 radar prefers his room temperature. I like mine cold. I feel like it makes it a little less harsh since it's a higher proof. I suppose ice would do the same.
Love the reviews but I was watching another drink review channel called Behind the Bar Reviews or some shit and I swear to god the guy calls himself Special K too... When I heard it I was like what no way!

Jack Daniels is technically a bourbon Radar, the only difference is it is considered a Tennessee Whiskey because its sugar maple charcoal filtered, mash bill technically makes it a bourbon
Ya I agree, thats another reason why Jack Daniels is considered Tennessee Whiskey, the amount of iron in the water determines the bitterness of the whiskey

For years I have enjoyed Wild Turkey 101 but recently I purchased 2 bottles with the same lot number and had a very off taste. I have been in contact with their costumer service and they indicated that this has been a recent issue and assured me that they would replace my purchase with a replacement. It has been a month and they have yet to make good on their promise. Customer service is key to any product, and will be switching to Maker’s Mark.
+Matthew Schmitt rye whiskey is produced with rye typically at least 51% in the U.S.( different in other countries)while bourbon is made with corn mash and has to be produced in the U.S to be considered bourbon.
Special K thank you, the liquor store has a massive sale on rye whiskeys. I didn't pick one up because I did not know what it was like. Going to go pick one up later for the weekend!
We have like 6 or 7 scotch reviews, we mainly do bourbon because we are in the bourbon capital of the world and it's easy for us to get. Scotch not so much, most stores will have a small section and that's it.

i love wild turkey its my to go whiskey and I never put it in freezer I like it right off the shelf at room temp.

Ale 8 is what we normally use.
I like it with home made apple juice for chaser or Nestle Naked juice and the turkey in the freezer. Straight shooters.
