Very cool. I put double wishbone kit on my Lunchbox from Ampro Engineering a few years back, it really changes the dynamics of the truck. As in it actually can steer! The Ampro kit is a beautiful design, similar to the UK Monsters kit, but it's 3D printed and a bit brittle, I've already broken a couple arms. I might switch over to the UK kit as it seems way more durable.

Hey some very cool upgrades there Fil. I find it always helps when one of the cats comes in and walks around on the desk while I'm working on an RC. Shame about the tyres falling off but once glued I'm sure you'll have an epic run with this. Top work 👍👍

Those tyres are very good, I have them on the Dump Truck and that handles so well. LOL not checking the fit before cutting 🙂 The wide kit, that will put stress on things but it looks good and handles well.

The gearbox tends to make a "clacking" sound under stress (too powerful a motor, etc...), as a result of the thin metal plates separating and stressing out the diff. It all depends on how fast you want to be. I'm running 3300kv and I really like it. Some say it's too much, but I love it. If you get an esc with adjustable parameters, that's a good idea. Since the CW01 likes to wheelie a lot, you'll want to dial down the initial punch so it's not flipping all over the place. 👊🏼

Not for the looks, trust me, but it does help with stability, and I don't want to ruin rhe stock tires and rims. I've been looking at various wheels and tires, including these, and would be curious to see what you suggest since you have the Squash van too. I wouldn't mind widening it either.
Yeah the Squash Van (or Von Squash as I like to call it) is a top-heavy rolly-polly rig, isn't it? If you haven't already, watch my series on it. I dropped in a wild Castle BL system and ran it on both 2S and 3S. It was too much, but that's kind of the fun, isn't it? Haha. I set my dampers to 50% droop and it helped stability a ton! So that's a good starting point. You could put some wideners on there, or a more offset wheel to gain a little more stability, too. The stock tires are basically hockey pucks, so they don't offer much in the way of grip. Some guys use CW01 tires (2.0 I/D) and stretch them over the 2.2 Von Squash rim. Wicked, man! Glad you found my channel! Feel free to email any time you're stuck! Poorboysrc78@gmail.com
As for the Blackfoot, the only weak point is the gearbox and rear axles. The gearbox tends to make a "clacking" sound under stress (too powerful a motor, etc...), as a result of the thin metal plates separating and stressing out the diff. You can fix this with the MIP ball diff. But when upgrading to the MIP diff, you'll also have to upgrade the stock rear axles (hex type) to the rere Frog dogbones (a.k.a. Frogbones). These are classic dogbone style, and a little longer, so they don't fall out of the drive cups.
Which brusless combo would you suggest for lunchbox 3000kv 3250kv 3300kv or 3500kv? Will be running with 2s lipo.
