      I think 2rd or the 3rd waterfall the one where the tree is on your left side and the second to the last one is also good

    We just did this trail yesterday. The last time I did the trail was in the winter with several feet of snow and no gate keeper at the gate.

    Fun trail. I did it in a 2006 Jeep Commander 3.7 with no mods whatsoever.

      I have, several times. The second waterfall can be a pain as it is slick. Besides that the rest is about the same.

    Definitely the best video I have seen regarding gold mountain. Thank you so much. My rig has 33s and IFS- do you think I will have problems? Thanks for any thoughts on that. Saw lots of 35s and larger and live axles in your video!

    • @JeepAdventures
      @JeepAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      First, thank you for the kind words about the video.
      As for your questions, short answer is yes, you can do it. The long answer is use the advise in this video on the obstacles and you should be fine. A spotter will make it a lot easier. 33's are plenty large. In this video were several people on 33's, I personally took my JL on 33's up this trail many times when it was stock, never had to use lockers. Yes it does have a solid front axle, but most of the obstacles are where you hit both tires at the same to so it won't matter too much.
      Spoiler Alert - Help on Gate Keeper - As for the gate keeper, often riding the right side will put all your wheels in a better place and make it easier to get through it.
      Hope you have fun, take photos and video and share your story. If you like this video, please share and subscribe. Safe travels.

    Also, I did notice that Gold Mt is pretty tore up now. Even going up the first obsticle on the far right a little hard because there is a big hole in the ground.

    Can a stock gladiator make it through gate keeper?

    • @JeepAdventures
      @JeepAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most likely, but a spotter will help a lot

    • @Gizamalukeix

      I did in an '06 Commander 3.7 with no mods or lift. Stock tires too. Just have to use common sense and know how to drive.

    I will forever be looking for the infamous Triangle Rock. I believe it is the key to getting over ANY obstacle. 😁

    Is this something a stock gladiator rubicon on 33s can do?

    • @JeepAdventures
      @JeepAdventures  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So that is loaded question. Can a stock Rubicon gladiator do the trail. Yes for sure. But this is one of those trails that is technical so some drivers experience goes a long way.

    Did you guys air down

    • @JeepAdventures
      @JeepAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      We air down done for every trail. I recommend airing down ro the same psi always as that makes your vehicle predictable.
      For this jeep with larger tires along withmany others, 10 psi is the sweet spot.

    • @danamcwhite
      @danamcwhite ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JeepAdventures hard to tell in a video. This new tire technology and rims 10 psi even 5 psi on some looks like it’s still full.

    • @JeepAdventures
      @JeepAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, a lot of people are running thicker sidewalls so airing down a little more is needed.
