People may not watch the family videos in high numbers, but you HAVE a high number of viewers because you’re the kind of man who has this type of mindset and keeps things focused on friends and family.
Watching children sledding today is not something I knew I needed but man was that enjoyable. The memories of my youth and my children's youth just came flooding back.
This is absolutely one of my favorite videos. My wife and I love the sheer joy displayed by the children riding their sleds down the slope. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Good morning Adam, Always enjoy watching all the kids sledding and how you setup the different tracks for them to enjoy. You need a little remote control vehicle to help you clear the snow off the ice..
It's a shame that you don't get as many views typically on the family style videos. They showcase what you're about, and who you are as a person, more than your work videos do. The kicks that you'll get from looking back on these videos by yourself or with your family and children is invaluable. Stay safe out on the ice!
When I was a kid it took us forever to make a nice packed trail by sledding down over and over. That was the only method available to us! Still no meaningful snow here, but it’s been cold and pond skating has been great for a couple weeks now.
Make a big box scraper from some lumber. Attach ropes on both sides and with two people you can drag it across the pond to remove the snow without having to walk on the ice. You can use a high-pressure sprayer that creates fine droplets and spray the top layer to grow the ice from the top and create a hard slick top layer. Here in the Netherlands, it has been years since we were able to skate on ponds and lakes and the way skating rings are created within just one or two nights with temperatures of about 20 F is by spraying blacktop parking lots with fine mist sprayers throughout the night, to create 1-inch ice directly on top of the blacktop surface so people can skate safely. They even organize speedskating marathons on these tracks.
I still remember my Uncle towing all of us kids around his farm on the toboggan with his tractor. That was almost 60 years ago! This is something your kids will never forget!
Great video 👍 When my brothers and I were younger, after Halloween was over it was prep time for winter shenanigans. Toboggans had to be sanded and waxed, runner sled and skates had to be prepped and sharpened, sled runs needed to be scouted and cleared of obstacles. Generally the 1st significant snow didn't happen until the later part of November, around Thanksgiving, and we were chomping at the bit waiting. Once the first good snow happened, we rolled the sled runs and used pump sprayers to form the perfect crust so that sledding was as fast as possible. Ramps and bumps were constructed to enhance the experience, catching air was always a goal. Thank you for the trip down memory lane 👍
You are enjoying the life I grew up with. I was brought up in Vermont and sledding was the best winter entertainment. We would walk a mile up the back roads to sled down, and do it for the better part of a day. Fortunately the end of the run was where we lived. Keep up the great videos. Enjoy them all. Bless you and yours.
I love your family and friends videos! Both my husband and I enjoy watching them! I have to say that I am sooo jealous of the wonderful experience your children get to have in the snow! And what you had growing up! My husband and I and our (now grown) children only got short visits to the snow when we were growing up! You all are so lucky to have it out your front door! You’re a great dad!
I like watching the kids having fun outside, and it was obvious they were. I'm not a fan of walking on ice though kinda makes me nervous. I do enjoy watch ing you skating and knurling looks like fun just as long it's not me. Lol
Every Canadian kid learns, “one inch stay away , 2 inches one may, three inches small groups , 4 inches all may!” I remember learning it in 2nd or 3rd grade along with “ Stop , Drop and Roll” for fire on your body. Looks like good family fun to me .
These are the times man. Things like this the kids will remember forever. My wife and I were talking about this the other day. We pull our kids behind the side x side on a big lake tube she got on clearance at Walmart. They absolutely love it. Enjoy your videos bub! Stay warm this week and put an extra log on the fire, it’s going to be a cold one 🥶
You're not just making these videos for y'all - you're making them for a lot of fans who LOVE watching y'all have fun & who never get to do those things! So, keep videoing!! 🥰 You made us so nervous that you were going to fall through that ice!! 😳 Can't wait for the next one!! God bless y'all. 🥰🙏🥰👍
That’s a great hill! Not too crazy, but enough slope to have fun on it! As for views… don’t sweat the numbers, your content is excellent, and your fan base will be here . Thanks for sharing!
Hey Adam keep making these vids. The best days for me are when my grandkids include me in their imagination and I let go of all the adult barriers. Great memories that your kids will provide with their kids someday and so on.
It only "under preforms" because of the stupid algorithm. Screw the algorithm and keep making them. We like organic content and not so much algorithm content. Great video and can't wait to see the pond completely frozen over.
Great video, thanks for sharing. The pond really is looking like a winter wonderland :) Living in the UK, we don't really get a "proper" winter so it's really great to see :) Keep up the great work :)
Is there a better sound than squealing and laughing children having the time of their lives? I don't think so. Making memories they will have for the rest of their lives. Anyway, stay safe healthy and warm. Bill H from Cranberry Township in
I was thinking of doing this for the neighbor’s kids and using my lawn roller. Drive up and down the hill to pack it and keep doing it after each snow. It would last long time in warmer weather.
Memories Adam.... Memories... Life's about the journey and peaks n valleys along the way... We all know our destination, enjoy the crumb crunchers and ankle biters as long as ya can..
I realize the family activity was the headliner in this video but I wish you would have added the hydraulic centerlink is a tremendous convenience but not mandatory and full length of the centerlink can be obtained by simply twisting the link to full extension! Great activity and a fun video--thanks.
Remember my neighbor growing up on the farm. He had a farmall "m" with a homemade blade made out of bridge planks that he used to groom his sled riding hill. Brought back some fond childhood memories watching your video. Keep em coming Adam.
Those are some core memories. Those kids will remember these days for the rest of their lives. Hopefully, it'll make them want to invest in a homestead of their own for their kids.
I love the frozen pond and camping videos. That looked like a wonderful day with the kids! Building wonderful family memories and letting us experience these great days through you, can’t beat that. Made me want take a run at the hill.
Great job, Adam. On our big sled riding hill, we use the back blade on the Ford 8N, swiveled around backwards and tilted so that it packs the snow down nicely. It makes for many hours of fun. And having the ATV/UTV for a "ski lift" back up the hill makes sledding much better when we were kids. As a kid, I remember the thrill of the one minute ride down the hill, followed by the dread of the 20 minute hike back up the hill pulling the sled. :)
Your testicular fortitude is showing as you walk out on that ice Adam! Dang. Be careful, Brother. Never stop making memories with your family and friends. The kids grow up so quickly. Thanks for sharing!
Mid January and Southern California Mountains have gotten little to no snow. There is no one more upset about this than my 6 year old. She knows soon after Christmas it's snow. It's so awesome that you can have this in your own backyard for your kids. Guaranteed my daughter would spend all day outside if there is snow on the ground.
Keep making these. It was 41 degrees Celsius yesterday and our aircon got struck by lightening last week and is now dead, so bloody hot here. I am living vicariously cool through you.
I'm really surprised to hear these videos underperform as they are some of my favorites! In fact the original on-property campsite prep and trail grooming videos are what originally brought me to the channel as I'd been trying to find videos on semi-permanent campsites that people had built on their acreage! Regardless, it IS a great diary of the kids' childhood!
Adam, they're predicting 6" - 7" of snow here IN SOUTH LOUISIANA Tuesday-Wednesday of this coming week!!! 😳 We'll believe it when we see it!! 😆😆😆 Can't wait to watch your video later! God bless y'all! 🥰👍🙏♥️
mate great Video... seeing the fun, laughter of the kids is what life is all about.. They will have life long memories of those GREAT times... Thank you
Great video Adam! I agree with you. These videos are like a time capsule. Our children will be able to watch hours of videos of us years after we are gone to.
Quality time, but nothing like a face full of snow 4:57 LOL. Also, we aprobably don't ride in the back of pickups any more, but riding the back of a side x side comes darn close!
These are the videos that make a good variety. Even if you’re an old guy like me, you can’t help but smile watching the children having fun 👍
This is absolutely one of my favorite videos. My wife and I love the sheer joy displayed by the children riding their sleds down the slope. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Love that line: this is Anderson’s world, we’re just living in it. Thanks for sharing Anderson’s world.

Warmed my heart. I smiled almost all the way through.
Absolutely, love these videos. Make more! I see a Snowmobile in your future 😂

Does not matter. This is my favorite video of a Great Father taking care of the kids! Stay warm!
Back in the fifties and sixties when I was that age, we used the Flexable Flyers
I love your family and friends videos!
Both my husband and I enjoy watching them!

Dude's out here living the American Dream
Great old-time fun in the snow, Adam you are one brave guy, first crack I here i'm on shore. You need a robot snow shovel to clear that pond off.
FAMILY FIRST. I truly enjoy the family vids. Tons of respect for your family values.
these are some of the best videos
Good video. Had me on the edge of my seat watching you work your way out on the ice to shovel. Enjoy the memories
the kids will remember this time forever!
my kids and grandkids remember the 1st time they went sledding 35 years later.
I like watching the kids having fun outside, and it was obvious they were. I'm not a fan of walking on ice though kinda makes me nervous. I do enjoy watch ing you skating and knurling looks like fun just as long it's not me. Lol
What fun, I am 86 and I remember my dad taking me sled riding when I was six.
I loved this video, Adam. I had a smile on my face the entire time I watched it. You are a great Dad.
Great job, great Dad!
You sounded like Rodney Dangerfield when you said you were sledding uphill both ways. Cracked me up.
I did enjoy. Here in Texas we dont have that kind of snow. Great to see family fun like that.
Keep making them.
The best part of the sled ride is the one on the way UP! Good times and great memories!

That looks like so much fun, keep these videos coming.
I really enjoy your family time videos. Reminds me of my childhood
I watch all your videos and the family involved videos are the best I think.
You should make some bike jumps in the summer. That way when you get snow, you can hook the tube up to the UTV and fly the kids over them !!
That’s a great hill! Not too crazy, but enough slope to have fun on it!
As for views… don’t sweat the numbers, your content is excellent, and your fan base will be here . Thanks for sharing!
I sure don't have memories like that. Your folks raised you right Adam.
Hey Adam keep making these vids. The best days for me are when my grandkids include me in their imagination and I let go of all the adult barriers. Great memories that your kids will provide with their kids someday and so on.
I watch every video you post. Thanks for that.
Love outdoor family videos, especially winter ones . Keep bringing more … thanks for sharing. Craig. Pa.
It only "under preforms" because of the stupid algorithm. Screw the algorithm and keep making them. We like organic content and not so much algorithm content. Great video and can't wait to see the pond completely frozen over.
Great Dad Adam! I’m sure you have no regrets of giving your family opportunities like this.
All my kids are grown. I really miss those days. It goes by quick, good to see you're enjoying it.
Great video, thanks for sharing. The pond really is looking like a winter wonderland :) Living in the UK, we don't really get a "proper" winter so it's really great to see :) Keep up the great work :)

You could probably rig yourself up something like a concrete bull float with a few extensions and safely pull even more snow from the pond. 👍
I was thinking of doing this for the neighbor’s kids and using my lawn roller. Drive up and down the hill to pack it and keep doing it after each snow. It would last long time in warmer weather.

Your video today reminds me of the good 'ol days! Walking to our favorite hill, sledding and walking back up the hill to make another run.
Pond looks great!
Those are some core memories. Those kids will remember these days for the rest of their lives. Hopefully, it'll make them want to invest in a homestead of their own for their kids.

Awesome family time, great job dad. That’s the kind of things your kids will remember.
Love watching families making precious memories together. Never gets old. So keep making them Adam!!
This video made my day! Awesome! Way to go dad! That is how you build memories for a lifetime!
I was about to say when I was a kid we had to trespass to get to the good hills haha. This looked amazing. With I was your neighbor lol
That, my friend, was a 16 minute pocket of joy! Thanks for sharing family fun.
Your testicular fortitude is showing as you walk out on that ice Adam! Dang. Be careful, Brother. Never stop making memories with your family and friends. The kids grow up so quickly. Thanks for sharing!
Keep making these videos! Hearing people laugh and having fun is good for the soul!
Super Dad! 😂☃🏂⛄

2 and a half is good for one person on boots.
3" You can skate to clear the snow. 4" people can gather on the ice.
Keep making these. It was 41 degrees Celsius yesterday and our aircon got struck by lightening last week and is now dead, so bloody hot here. I am living vicariously cool through you.
Great video, these are the times your kids will remember, out with dad and mom playing. Brings back some good memories
I enjoy following all the content. I had so many smiles watching the kids earn their stripes.

Peaceful fun.
Great family fun. What a dad
These are some of my favorite videos to watch Adam. Thank you for sharing.
Adam, before you know it you and family also friends will be on the ice having a blast together 😮😊❤
In a few years they will be snowboarding and wanting you to build a half pike. 😎
Looks like Myrtle Beach may get 1" of snow on Tuesday.
Creating memories with kids is why (we as parents) do what we do. Nice video Adam. Stay safe.
mate great Video... seeing the fun, laughter of the kids is what life is all about.. They will have life long memories of those GREAT times... Thank you
Wow! what a blast. The kids were having so much fun. Good job Adam!
Great family fun!
Dad would first lightly plow, the compress with a roller.
Best times.
Making memories the kids will talk about 50 years from now.
Making such great memories!
I especially like the family videos. Make all you want.
Now you need to come up with a way to scape the snow off the pond from the bank! Get some Doug help or ideas! Lol 😂
Great idea, my box blade is always on my tractor. Such a versatile tool.
I agree, as I watched I thought "this is just Adam's family video".
I wish i was there, these memories will be forever.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!…great video Adam!! Oh the days as a kids sledding…. Memories that’ll last a lifetime
Have a day
Great video Adam! I agree with you. These videos are like a time capsule. Our children will be able to watch hours of videos of us years after we are gone to.

Grew up in the 50s. Spent many days sledding, building snow forts and snowball fights. Thanks for taking us outside for some winter fun.
Awesome! You’ll be building jumps in the tube lanes. Need Mikes jet blower to blow the snow off the ice.
Good runs.
Hello Adam. Try attaching a sheet of plywood to the bottom of the tilted box blade. That may compress the snow as you drive over it.
