The culture of performative beef which was adopted by Trickers of previous generations was no match for the super friendly/cooperative culture popularized by communities like those in Australia over the course of the 2010s. It’s a lot more fun and you make more progress when you train with people who cheer you on, offer you advice, and gas you up, as opposed to training with people whose only contribution to their fellow athlete is just telling them that they suck, and so that old sort of tricking culture has just been completely outcompeted by a superior alternative.
Tl;dr we have caught more flies with honey than with vinegar, go figure.
